My favorite managing associate to go to is Claudia. She typically has the answers to my questions immediately. On the rare case she does not have the answer (people are not computers) she has consistently gone above and beyond to provide two things. She let's me know she needs to make a call to underwriting to find out and then she always gets back to me. This takes the burden of calling back off of my plate. Also, her empathetic conversational style, helps me to feel comfortable that she cares about the issue I am calling about and that she is on my side like a true neighbor. As long as she is at Clyde Hill State Farm, I will be there too.

During the call, I overheard comments that appeared to be complaints about immigrants, which I found very inappropriate and concerning. As a long-time customer, I expect respectful and professional service. One of the main reasons I have kept all my insurance policies with State Farm is because my previous agent treated my family with kindness and professionalism. After today's experience, I am extremely disappointed and will not recommend this agent to anyone I know.

I do not trust and will not use Larry Kircher's agency any longer…read more I moved my business to State Farm from Allstate, because after I'd been hit by a State Farm policy holder, State Farm took better care of me than my own insurance company. Parts warranties, service, and the entire experience was better dealing with State Farm. Now that we are with State Farm, my daughter was hit by a driver carrying insurance apparently from a foreign country. She called Larry Kirchner, and was summarily kicked to the curb. All that Larry's office had to do was to give her the claims number, but instead they told it "it is easier" to deal with the other party's insurance. My daughter was left to attempt to navigate through the trying process of having her car repaired with a foreign insurer for whom English is a second language. Do they have the same quality of repair shops? Do they warranty the parts and the work the way State Farm does? I don't know, and Mr. Kirchner didn't either. It wasn't his concern. When I called Mr. Kirchner to take issue with the shoddy treatment my daughter received, he doubled down on his comments. "You'll have to be out of pocket for your deductible," he said, "and if the other insurer denies responsibility, you won't get your $500 back." How dumb! I asked Mr. Kirchner what made him think that if this foreign insurance company won't pay State Farm and their teams of experts and lawyers, what makes him think they'll pay me? He didn't have an answer. It would have been so easy to simply refer my daughter to the claims department. We trusted this agency enough to write them a check each month, and when we needed their advocacy, their assistance, and their expertise, they summarily dismissed my daughter without any regard for her difficulty, because it was easier for them. If I hadn't been there to help her and direct her to the appropriate people, she'd have had to struggle through the process of getting her car fixed because her agent couldn't be bothered to help.
