Specialties
The North Atlantic Outerwear Company set out with one mission: to conceive, create and produce high quality, high end clothing that people will love to have in their closet. Products that can withstand the wear and tear of time. Our clothing is Canadian made, with a comfortable feel, the result of earth friendly, recyclable materials. We went to great lengths to search out green minded, reputable companies who pass strict audits with respect to ethical and sustainable production practices. That is what sets us apart from the others. We remain committed to having our clothing made in Canada. Our love of the environment is obvious, for every piece of North Atlantic Outerwear clothing sold we donate $1 to the World Wildlife Fund. Please visit us on the web or come and see us in person at the beautiful Joan Harris Cruise Pavilion, Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada.
History
Established in 2018.
The North Atlantic Outerwear Company , also known as NAO, was born and conceived through it's owners love of and close proximity to the North Atlantic Ocean. Our clothing and outerwear is not just clothing, it is a lifestyle. It is made for those who share in our passion for both the outdoors as well as the environment. We are a true Canadian brand with a very strong focus on the environment. The logo is very much Canadian, powerful yet modern: the maple leaf symbolizing our love for the beauty of this country...the compass with a strong emphasis on the North. The four points of a compass are representative of the four seasons we experience here along the North Atlantic.
