I had one really bad massage recently and I went to them and complained and asked for a refund and they would not give me one. I then requested to have my future massage canceled and they sent me this response as oart of theur total response - Thank you once again for your understanding, and we hope you find a provider that better suits your needs. I was referred by a co-worker who goes here too, and she has worked at various chiropractic offices in the past part-time so I trusted her opinion. I'm glad I found them. I feel like they put the patient needs first over their pocketbook. I've always had stiffness or soreness in my back and shoulders due to my line of work (dental=hunched over) and poor computer posture. One day it just got to be too much. I contacted them and got an appointment same day with Kiaja. Love her! She is so kind... and funny! And very knowledgeable and able to explain what she is going to do, why she is doing it and how it should help. I love that she is hands on (back cracking), and not just electrodes and walk away for 20 mins. My insurance doesn't cover my chiropractic care. So I purchased a package I get charged every month for, and it's affordable. Their packages are similar to Massage Envy. Examples: 2 times a month, 4 times a month, 8 times a month, unlimited monthly and family packages. The bigger the package, the more savings and perks. A plus...I get to use my HSA Benny card. I've been going for 8 weeks now and my back discomfort/ stiffness is so much better. I enjoy it so much, 10 mins isn't enough time to catch up with the week's events with Kiaja. I haven't been a patient for long but Kayla, the office manager, already knows me by name. And they had a fun March Madness competition... patients filled out brackets and winners won prizes (gift certificates, free services). I know they offer other massage and cryotherapy services too. I just haven't experienced those so I am unable to comment quite yet.

I love Better Life Massage!…read more It seems like forever since the last time I had a massage, over 10 years ago. I'm pretty busted up and I've been wondering if massage might help me out. I tried out BLM first since they're the closest to my home. (Of course, I checked out Yelp reviews and the web page first.) Wow, they blew me away! I'm definitely fortunate to find such a great place so close to my house. There are many therapy options at Better Life but I've been choosing hour long deep tissue massages. I've experienced this style before. But Angel does a particularly fantastic job. She kicks my ass...in a great way. And she does it with an awesome, interesting, highly effective, Asian, Mandarin style twist! (I should have taken the hint when I saw the giant Asian medical charts hanging in the lobby!) Mandarin Style (my term) includes locating and working out all hard clumps of stiff muscle, interesting stretches, hot oil, and hot stones! I am so relaxed when I leave, I wobble down the hallway like a drunk person. The first time, they asked if I was okay and if I needed help. No kidding. I also have to drink water. And I usually have to sit in my car for several minutes to make sure I'm okay to drive home. Best of all, I had amazing results the VERY NEXT DAY. For the first time in years, I can now stand on one leg and lift the opposite foot more than 12 inches above the ground. In fact, now I can lift my knees all the way above parallel. Amazing. My cousin visited from out-of-town and I treated him to an hour long massage at Better Life. He never had a massage before in his life. But I knew he was in need. He owns an HVAC company and he has spent his whole life going up and down ladders and on his feet all day...for over 30 years. I would say, without exaggerating, the massage was a life changing experience for him. I'm not kidding. He actually canceled his chiropractic appointment and he found a massage therapist in Williston, ND (the oil fields). A few other final notes... The staff are fantastically skilled and impeccably polite. There's a small basket on the table in the lobby full of "thank you" cards that are quite touching. Finally, the prices are super reasonable, they're open 7 days a week, and the schedules are very flexible. They even do walk-ins. Thank you, SO MUCH, Better Life Massage!

I wanted to leave this place a review for people like me looking for a good last minute massage…read more I am from Los Angeles and have had a handful of massages in my life. This place is clean and simple (in a good way). They were able to accommodate my time which was 10 minutes after i called. I only saw 1 staff member while I was there and she is the one who gave me my massage. I got a 1 hr full body massage and I like light to medium pressure and that is what I got without having to ask. She did ask if the pressure was okay, which is always appreciated. When it was time for the hot stones, they were very hot in the beginning and she made sure to ask if the temperature was okay and when I told her no, she immediately removed them and let them cool down to get to a perfect temp before bringing them back into the massage. I would have rated a 5 star, however, they have a $5 off coupon on yelp for new customers which I wanted to take advantage of, but when I got there I was told they stopped that a year ago. (I suggested they remove it from the yelp site ‍). The other thing that made me not give 5 stars was during my massage, she left the room suddenly (I'm not sure if it was to help other customers or to grab something because it was just a little longer then expected and I heard her talking to customers). I just felt slightly awkward not knowing what was going on. Usually the massage therapist let's me know wheb they need to leave the room to grab something. She left the room 1 more time, but that time I'm pretty sure it was to grab something because it was rather quick. Overall this place deserves a 4.5 star rating and if I'm ever back in town I would definitely come back here again.
