There were maybe 4 cars outside. We went to North Canton library instead where they are kind and don't tell a parent alone with 3 kids that only 2 people can go inside and not care one bit that this doesn't work.

It's disgusting to look at poop! Mary Ellen spends money on 3 security guards at one time in her Library, but won't take care of the beautiful library overlooking Sippo. She won't give anyone a guest pass. It's OUR library Mary Ellen! I have had my computer go down and I have my library card info in the computer that went down so I can't move to another one. I see residents come in and have the internet, they just need a print out, or a fax or they don't live here and don't need a card, just a copy of something. What is the problem with letting Stark County residents NOT use their computers they paid for Also, i have asked and asked and asked for coupons. The Sunday paper has coupons to use at the store.( It's great that Mary Ellen and the Stark Board of Trustees Steven Pittman don't need coupons.) But alot of us do. I have left numerous messages for Steven Pittman to call me regarding above info, but he never calls! Mary Ellen never has any coupons at the Market st. library or at the Sippo library. Who pays for the Sunday paper? Can I get the coupons? The last time i went into Sippo, the employee was eating and talking with her mouth full. Can we eat in there now? I had just eaten a pizza in the car before I came in. Or is that just for the Sippo employees?

My four year old and I enjoyed the little train and touring the historic home. The docents were very friendly and knowledgeable. I had no idea Hoover had a plant in the UK- the volunteer told us that people in England still call their vacuums "Hoovers". Oddly enough, I was listening to an audiobook after we left, and the British author referenced the Hoover in the next chapter that very day. Weird, right? The grounds and gardens here are quite lovely. We walked back to the event space where a lecturer was speaking about the history of North Canton. It was quite warm inside that space, so we quickly left, but my son found the playground and all was good in the world.

A disappointing experience at this museum which bills itself as the McKinley presidential library…read moreand museum. It is neither. It is a kids' modest science center with a big dose of history about the local county. I guess it's possible they have his papers somewhere but approximately 5 percent of the public museum is about him. I hate to be negative about museums but I was truly shocked. It costs $17 to get in which makes me think that hey are struggling but who knows. Worst presidential site I have been to. Go to the Garfield site- much better. (They do have a nice fake dinosaur.)

It is not open during the winter, but visitors are able to climb the stairs up to the mausoleum. The view from the top looks over trees to the river. Halfway up the stairs there is a large statue of McKinley. There is plenty of parking. This is a short drive from the Pro football Hall of Fame so if you are in the area it is worth a short stop to pay respects to William McKinley our 25th President.

Staff are very helpful and polite! Prices are generally reasonable! The store is massive and contains a high variety of items to browse through! We have been here many times and uyfind the right gift or items to purchase . Store is on the end of a large area of stores known as the strip! We highly recommend shopping here we often shop here and in the area! Just off I77 and has a many fabulous restaurants along the road that parallel the freeway! Just a few miles north of Canton!
