I was extremely nervous, and they helped me feel confident I had made the right decision. I was admitted for 24 hours, and had three sets of nurses and patient helpers during that time. Robbie & Kayleigh situated me in my room and made sure all my immediate needs were handled. Fatina and Beitney helped me adjust through my night there and were quick to respond when I pushed the button for help. Tracy & Angel helped me understand what was expected once I was discharged and helped me through the process. Everyone was respectful and made me feel understood and like my needs were important. I specifically chose Dr. Morgan Martin of Seidel Plastic Surgeons Building for my procedure based on the amazing reviews and research I had done. When I found out Cullman Regional Medical Center was her preferred choice, I immediately researched their reviews and was pleasantly suprised, and gladly persued this option.

That was mailed on April 2nd , 2019 to her as instructed. I gave her my first MRI and last MRI Scans plus a photograph of my necks horrendous Muscle Spasms as well ! I have not heard back from them yet as of April 10th, 2019 . I realize that she is a very busy Neurosurgeon... and hopefully will actually examine me ? I am referring to Dr. Mélissa R. Chambers who not only is a Neurosurgeon, but has a DVM degree. She has excellent credentials and excellent bed side manners as was told by Nurses at UAB when my mother was their. First, they ask all the questions to assess whether you are a good surgery candidate or a risky one, before even being seen by a nurse. No thanks. I clearly stated I did not want pain meds or injections. Since I wasn't a surgery candidate, I clearly fell into the pain-med-referral category for them. After declining being injected with anything, they still recommended I see the pain med specialist. No thanks. Finally, I asked whether there was anything wrong with my back. Nope, turns out everything looked good on x ray and mri. Good deal! Good bye. Pleasant staff, pleasant nurse. Helpful intake and inprocessing. Everything else is what's wrong with health care in America.
