From pre-surgical, operating room, to the surgical 5th floor staff....not only was everyone I was in direct contact with knowledgeable but they were very personable and made me feel comfortable knowing that they would be taking good care of me. I was extremely nervous, and they helped me feel confident I had made the right decision. I was admitted for 24 hours, and had three sets of nurses and patient helpers during that time. Robbie & Kayleigh situated me in my room and made sure all my immediate needs were handled. Fatina and Beitney helped me adjust through my night there and were quick to respond when I pushed the button for help. Tracy & Angel helped me understand what was expected once I was discharged and helped me through the process. Everyone was respectful and made me feel understood and like my needs were important. I specifically chose Dr. Morgan Martin of Seidel Plastic Surgeons Building for my procedure based on the amazing reviews and research I had done. We went in after a mva. The Dr that saw her stated she did not have a burn from the airbags. It was a burn that was hot to the touch with blistering. He told us it was blood vessels. Went to her primary doctor that confirmed it was a burn from the airbags. The doctor that saw her for 3 mins seemed more concerned with his looks rather than giving an accurate diagnosis. read more

My husband was in Room 326 for two weeks. Unfortunately he passed away but the whole time we were their they treated us with respect and everyone was very nice and informative. They set us up with 3 recliners in the room so we could stay. We couldn't have asked to have been treated any better. They treated my husband very well and did all they could for him. Worse ER service around, stole my tax refund without my knowledge of knowing I owed them anything, I paid my $300 copay on the table before they would even see me then never received anything else on it, my phone number and email address was on file as well, several ways to contact somebody these days, I will never recommend them to anyone. read more

This has to be the worst hospital in the state of Alabama! I went here for a kidney infection where I received chest xrays along with other tests that had no relevance to my symptoms for which I came in with the doctor of whom I saw had no clue of what he was doing? The nurses were rude and hateful most of which were playing on their phones. I was sent home with a tylenol and two weeks later I received medical bills totaling $10,280.00 for all the ridiculous unnecessary test they did on me this hospital loves to give you test you don't need so they can run your bill up to amounts which is impossible for anyone to pay! So I thought that I could get away with no visits to this medical center but I was wrong. While at the lake my mother injured herself so we headed to cullman regional medical center (45mins away) thinking that it would be less crowded and shorter wait than UAB (1hr away). Full disclosure, I am a medical professional so I expect a certain level of care and I just don't feel that this er is able to provide that level of care. We came in at 16:51 pm on Saturday and were discharged at 20:55. Yes - 4 hours for 13 stitches and an X-ray. While I understand and I am patient when people are busy - I am not understanding of nurses in the hall watching videos on their phones while my mother is waiting for her wound to be dressed. I also do not appreciate healthcare providers who don't wash their hands upon entering the room but "sanitized "outside the room. Just wash your hands or sanitize upon entry into the room. I also expect all ER staff to wear masks since they are first line healthcare providers and will see COVID patients. Only the physicians had masks on and maybe one nurse. I will say that the front desk check in staff were nice and did acknowledge our long wait BUT NO ONE else seemed to be concerned. I am overworked in healthcare so I get the lack of motivation but I never let the patient sit and suffer. There are no other choices in and around Cullman but next time I do plan to drive to UAB as the wait would be about the same. read more

Went to Decatur ER 3 times over chest pains and they sent me home saying it was GERD and finally after a year, I started having terrible chest pains & they heard me and did some scans, I needed emergency surgery for my gallbladder! crmc discriminate and place lives at risk. they did it to my step granddaughter when she was taken there and sent home with a virus although she had a very high temp and one of her eyes was dialated . they gave her phenergen for vomiting. this was way back when woodland was here so my son rushed her down there they had her rushed to children's where she was placed on life support now she's blind in that eye and was paralyzed on the left side now let's jump to august 9 2022 my husband started slurring his words and i forced him to the er at crmc the er staff was great and took great care of him it's the 4th floor staff entirely different after they got the tests results back and my husband failed for narcotics. they left his urine bottle in the floor , his tray so far away he couldnt reach it let him lay in bloody filthy sheets and the so called nurse came in at ny request and her exact words were" as you can see im run raged so what exactly do you want from me " my husband had a stroke in his brain stem and they sent him home with high bp high sugar and blockage of 70 percent when they had just said he wasnt medically stable that changed after the drug test they didnt even ask if we have ins we do btw very good ins they are gossipy nurses and i actially heard one of them say i look like a druggie with all my tattoos . youd be better off going to tommy littles office seriously hes an amazing vetrenarian read more

My name is not important but i will tell you what is. Last night i experience a fatal drug overdose and broke down and finally made the decision to get. They told me i wasnt going to get in any trouble. I opened my door and it was cop and the first thing they were worried about was finding something to put me in jail for. Then when i was in the ambulance the nurse or whatever he was did not know what he was doing and busted my vein in my arm and blood was everywere he looked at me and yelled DONT EVER JERK LIKE THAT! when i got to the hospital i did everything i could to be respectful because i really truley wanted help. But they did not care at all. I herd them in the hallway making fun of me and laughing. They were really quick to kick me out of there and the worst part of it all is i had to walk from cullman to hanceville they wouldnt feed me or nothing they sent me on my way. I know if i wouldve stayed they wouldve treated me like a mental patient. I have now decided okay nobody wants help me so i guess i dont need it and if by any chance this happens again. My brother had a seizure and was rushed to the ER via ambulance. It was his first visit to the ER after a terrible experience. He was scared nonetheless. ER doc comes into the room 2 hours later and says he did not have a seizure, it was an "anxiety attack" and sent him home. Epilepsy runs in my family. He had 2 people witness him have a seizure. He had blood coming out of his mouth from where was was biting his tongue while convulsing and the "doctor" says it was an anxiety attack. I don't see how these people are licensed. If you have an emergency, save yourself time and possibly your life by making a trip to Birmingham or Huntsville. My brother is fine now. I took it upon myself as a healthcare professional to refer him to a great neurologist who diagnosed him with epilepsy. I would not recommended this hospital to anyone. read more
