When our Furnace went out on New Year's Eve evening, Erv Smith responded within 30 minutes and after a lot of work got the furnace operating again to get us through the holiday. They even provided us with 4 heaters in case the Furnace went out again. I worked with them on several bids and had them install a new Trane 97% efficient Unit on January 5. The installer team was great, cleaned up everything and hauled away our old Furnace. Over the many homes and years, we have owned in 6 states around the USA, I have had to install 5 furnace units. Had a furnace stop working on a Sunday morning. Only option for a Sunday repair on a York warranted…read morefurnace was All Season. Communication was good. Response was reasonably fast and technician was able to get furnace operating again. Total charge for the warranted exhaust fan and a thermostat (not under warranty) was $500. Charged $118 for a Honeywell thermostat that can be purchased locally for @$50. $382 in labor for about 2 hours of work. Contacted All Season questioning the charges but no reduction offered. I understand weekend rates to be higher than normal, but thought the thermostat upcharge and labor charges a bit extreme. All Season is only York dealer in area that had parts and it was cold so we couldn't wait until Monday to call another service company. Hoping the next time our York furnace quits working it's a weekday.

Understanding that things happen, I figured it would be 2 hours at the most. Their electricians work at $75/hr. It took him 3hours to do the job, and I was charged $67 for 3 GFCI outlets!! I provided my own pendant lights and he mentioned that they were the most complicated lights he's ever installed. They were lights from a local Home store. I have never been so nickel and dimed in my life. Beware of this place. The electrician went out to his van, took 2 phone calls and sat playing with wires that equaled up to almost an hour.
