I never post on Yelp, as you can see from my 0 friends and 1 other review...I figure what the world definitely doesn't need is more of my opinion. However, I couldn't NOT (double negative) post about Anna's work. I've been to see her 4 or 5 times now and every time has been like cuddling with a Koala Bear...all the right kinds of Awesome! Let's start with her location - Classic Leucadia! It's everything you'd expect from a quaint, culture packed spot in the heart of Leucadia. There's plenty of parking along the street, which is a huge win in the convenience category. It's funky, but not that smells like day-old burritos kind of funky...oh and in case you ate a day old burrito before coming in...they have a very clean bathroom! Her massage room is very professional - simple, but with all the necessities to make things relaxing and handle your needs. Trust me...I'm a member at La Costa Resort & Spa (allegedly the #1 Spa in the Country) and I choose here for massages. How about Pricing you say? Well...I can promise you this. You won't find better pricing in this town for the quality of work you get from Anna. Maybe at one of those pop-up massage places in a strip mall that gets shut down every three months...but I'm guessing anyone that has ever frequented one of those would never write you a review on here about the pricing. Quality of work - I've been around the block when it comes to therapies. I've had back surgery, I have a bad neck, head, shoulders, knees and toes...knees and toes. Anna does incredible tissue work for injuries as well as relaxation work as well. And the best part is that she listens. I'll say that again for those of you that weren't paying attention...She listens...to what your needs are and then actually addresses them. I can't tell you how many times I've gone in for a massage at some other establishment and said that it was my upper right neck that was killing me and I couldn't turn my head...and then they proceeded to rub my feet for the first 29 minutes...of my 30 minute massage. I know that I have incredibly nice feet people...but I don't want them rubbed! So you like a little witty banter? Anna is one of the best conversationalists I've met and it's only a Bloody Bonus that she also has a British Accent. I've had some very intriguing and hilarious conversations with her while she's untangling my back muscles. I'm sure if you're one of "those" people and you don't like a good chat while you're face down with no knickers...then she'd probably accommodate that as well. All in all I'd say it's the Full Monty! You'd be doing yourself and your health a serious favor by going to see her. Just don't say "Fish 'n' Chips" while you're face down...I'm not going to tell you why...just don't do it. read more

As a yoga instructor, I feel like I have a pretty good idea of where I'm holding tension in my body. Nevertheless, Anna was able to pinpoint tension in my shoulders and neck, that I didn't even realize I was holding! I've never had anyone take such a holistic approach regarding how my shoulder issues are causing stress in other muscles (i.e. my neck). I really appreciate she made sure to communicate clearly what she was doing and why. It's refreshing to have a masseuse that not only does a good job and is affordable, but also wants her clients to have a better understanding of their own bodies. Overall, I left feeling rejuvenated and relaxed, but like my muscles were still thoroughly worked on, but not in the "I can't move and have bruises the next day" kind of way. She does deep tissue, energy work, and injury therapy, and is pretty dang intuitive. Anna will definitely be seeing more of me! read more

I have a shoulder issue. I went to a Dr who prescribed PT....... which did nothing. I started going to Anna for massage..... she listened to me when I told her I felt the pain was initiating in my neck area. She focused on my issue. Found the affected muscles. Didn't fluff around! And I have had amazing results!! In one session I felt much more mobile and in far less pain.
