The facilities are always super clean, and the diverse staff is always friendly, helpful, and considerate. The trainers at the gym are excellent! First, satff and instructors are very warm and friendly to ALL people that attend. Second, instructors are very knowledgeable esp. professionally re: fitness, any injuries, suggesting helpful modifications, and answer questions re: general health. Finally, they are always encouraging to their class attendants. They check in with new attendees, greet everyone warmly, and have a fun caring sense of humor and personality. If there is the rare class cancellation, they are sure to notify you immediately via e-mail or text (which ever you prefer). The Y has so many different programs and experiences to offer that you will never become bored or lack challenge!

However a middle aged female employee came up while I was working on the bag sprayed like lysol or something in a circle around me on every piece of equipment close to me, the closest bag to my left but none of the other bags in the room, sprayed a supporting pillar thats not even equipment for good measure then walked out without spraying anything else in the room simply encircling me in chemicals while avoiding everyone else. Almost feels targeted. Personally I dont enjoy choking to death on chemicals while im working out completely ruined my workout I literally had to leave 45 minutes early because I simply couldn't take it anymore, and if it wasnt just straight up intentional shes completely oblivious. It was like having a full can of axe sprayed in your face as a kid so you cant breathe. Horrible employee, everyone else has been good to me though.

I contacted Tim (the owener and trainer) several weeks before and he could not have been nicer. Since I was not familiar with the area he was kind of enough to give me directions to the box. At that time I had been going to Crossfit for several months near my home and was looking forward to going to another one, especially out of state to see how things work. The one day I came in, I worked out with another young lady. Unfortunately, I re-aggravated a back injury so I had to cut back my work out. Tim properly showed me how to do everything and continually pushed us during the WOD even though I was in pain. While the box is small, they have all the necessary equipment to run a great Crossfit. If I am ever in the area again, I'm coming back!

The instructor Roxie was beyond amazing, the class was filled and the workout pulled a bucket of sweat out of me. The humidity in the room was perfectly adjusted for an optimal balance of warmth and humidity for a perfect environment. It was noticeable immediately. Very comfortable.
