On my very first visit Dr. Morchower he took the time to talk with me about what I wanted and what I needed. He also discussed what he would like to try and his plan was to lower the amount or strength of the pain medication that I was taking. I would love nothing more than to find enough relief from procedures that I would be able to be completely free from medications. Dr. Morchower listens to you and I feel valued and cared for. I feel like he is a partner in my care and that we share the same goals with respect to managing my pain. Unfortunately, I had another accident in December 2024. Since then all of my pain has increased and now I have frequent migraines. He has tried everything to get me relief. Although, these procedures haven't provided long term pain relief, it is always best to approach pain conservatively first. Dr. Morchower truly understands his field and he is a highly skilled specialist in pain management. I would recommend him to my family and that is the highest compliment I can give to a Physician. Also, exacerbating the pain was my Fibromyalga concomitant with some radiating nerve pain from reoccurring costochondritis. The Doctor and his staff treated me with the upmost care and respect. They had never heard of the condition before and even put some effort into researching Slipping Rib Syndrome so that they could better treat me. Not many modern doctors are aware of the condition, so it is a breath of fresh air when one puts effort into understanding it. I don't know how she got through nursing school with her bedside manner. She was so RUDE. Also on the way out to the lobby from the doorway I told the receptionist that she was rude. Well, I never saw someone walk so fast and then ASSAULT me. She pushed me, really hard, right through the doorway. I did call the police. I do not recommend anyone going to see this doctor. Recommended by a friend to visit the doctor for a minor knee pain. It seemed like a normal visit for my wife where the doctor ordered blood work. Guess what after 2 long years... we get a bill to pay $2250 dollars for all the blood work done by the lab. Total bill was somewhere upward of $5000. I wondered if it's such a terrible disease , the doctor should have asked for a second visit, another appointment! She never got one. Insurance plan paid/ negotiated some hefty amount and Test was patient responsibility. After we got the bill, called the doctors office. No one picks the phone and billing extension is suspiciously forwarded to a different company! We paid a visit and enquired. They asked us to negotiate fees with the lab ( by the way that too had closed- May be another fraud company) . Roped in insurance investigator and got a deal struck with lab.. paid a fraction. But, logged a complaint with the insurance to investigate the doctor . They wait for some patient to show up... repeat the process for some expensive tests and other hefty charges are slapped on the face ... they get paid and they leave the patient ... no follow up, no next appointment , no picking phones either... May God save the patient !!

I also have severe shearing in my lumbar and BPPvertigo. I have refused all surgery due to the extensive hardware and possible complications, especially with the thorasic. Since I have been with Dr. Syed, about 3 years now, I have had multiple injections for trigger points and blocks ALL with a high success rate. My gait, which had been off for 29 years due to pain, is becoming normal. I can place my foot with toes forward to walk. I have not had a bad thoracic lock up in quite some time due to medications provided and changing my mechanics on how I move my upper body,along with stretches, all suggestions by Dr. Syed and his PA's. They are great about answering all of my crazy questions, great bedside manner, they do listen and they do care. The PA's Veronica, Devon and Anthony are all so knowledgeable, patient and kind. It has to be difficult with every person who comes in is complaining due to pain. They are angels. I am located in Frisco and the procedures are done there at the location so you are familiar with your surroundings and comfortable. I have a needle phobia and Marcus the anesthesiologist is phenomenal in helping me stay calm. I trust this team to take care of me in my stressful state. I am a long term care patient and see myself staying here for the life of my chronic pain care. Then I started having MRI's of my pain issues, my neck, back, shoulders and both knees and he started to understand WHY I was on so many meds. But I also understand Pain Management Drs are being scrutinized and limited as to what and how much they can prescribe for pain. Turns out the new law is such that you can only take that dose of Morphine, IF you're a cancer patient, that's it, no one else can be prescribed that dosage amount of Morphine. Initially, it was pretty difficult. But, then he did an oblation on my lower back and that was the first part of my healing process. Unfortunately, it doesn't last forever, so I have to return every year to have the nerves in my lower back burned... The next area of pain was my knees, so I was referred to an Orthopedic Surgeon and he replaced both my knees within 7 weeks of each other. That was TOUGH. So knees are on the mend. Now I just have a torn rotator cuff to deal with and Tendonitis in the other shoulder and my neck issues... We're getting there and I think Dr Neleson understands why I need to see him every month. I don't know how I would be able to live a decent life without his help. He has been a lifesaver.
