He helped my pops pull into a slot, he even offered me some gloves, and other extra tools I needed to help with dumpling the trailer. He even got his hands dirty too. He was very helpful, kept a great attitude (like he actually lived his job). He was helping everyone from what I could observe. Very friendly! Honestly, he created a great environment to be around for a the few minutes I was there! So thank you! People like this are needed in a place like the dump! Keep up the great work!

The weights and cardio area is small but has the equipment that is needed for a basic workout. The area could be improved with a squat rack, maybe a TRX station, and some more equipment. The indoor pool is nice and clean with 2 lanes. I was told that the water used to be "cleaned" with salt but now chlorine is used. The outdoor pool has always been closed for the season when I've been there so can't say anything regarding that. My biggest complaint is that for the past 3 years, I always went after 5:00PM and there is an alarm that goes off every day that nobody seems to want to fix. It is very loud and rings in 1 second intervals.

They have a gym, an indoor lap pool, an outdoor pool, a nice exercise room, and nice locker rooms inside their large bathrooms. There's a little closet with pool toys that you can borrow while you're at the pool. They also have a room that you can use for parties with seating, extra large refrigerators, a large freezer, a sink area, and plenty of counter space. We had my daughter's 15th birthday party here, and it was a very pleasant experience for all of us. The outdoor pool area is really nice with beautiful landscaping, plenty of seating areas, really large gas grills, and of course a swimming pool. It's really quite a large outdoor area and can accommodate a really large group and not feel even slightly crowded.

No general gym from use from 7:30am to 6pm, with an overpacked "family basketball" from 6-8. What use is a "community center" that has all of its facilities closed 90% of the summer for private use?

First, the obvious accolades: This enormous, modern-ish facility offers plenty of the communal goods it was rebuilt to offer. Senior citizens own mornings and early afternoons, and men of all ages crowd the basketball courts later in the day -- when we're not in the midst of a pandemic, that is. There's a game room, lots of meeting rooms, and a good exercise room... which is where they can do better. When our oldest was 16 years of age, she attempted to use the exercise equipment and was told the policy was 18+. The Duranes neighborhood, nearly every block, is classic old Albuquerque planning: very agrarian, incredibly narrow streets, and no sidewalks. Running and even walking anywhere is dangerous. This Community Center offers an exception to that rule, and it should expand its age restrictions.

I'm going to hope I "donut" fall in the process. :-) I've been to this park quite a few times noatly in the evening when it isn't as hot as it is today. The trails are nice, level, dry, sandy and the terrain or lack thereof is mostly xeriscape meaning rocks, New Mexican weeds (but to those that arent from NM call this landscaping beautiful) a few cacti here and there. Still in spite of the dryness I enjoy my walks here. The park has a playground and lush grass growing and lots of trees. The CC isn't open on Sunday's so I cant review that. If your in the area stop by for a walk on the trails or let the kiddos run wild in the playground.... :-)

Sign me up and that's what I did! Staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. Very clean facility and restrooms. When I arrived the building was alive with many mature people. The cheapest breakfast in town can be found here. (pic with prices included). Funny moment: It got quiet when I walked in because I look young so I can see people questioning my age . Yes, I'm over 50+ and you'll see me in here very, very often so yall better be ready to have some fun when up I'm there!
