Staff were friendly and food was good. Ken the soundguy however, did not know what he was doing. He continued to mess with the sound throughout the set despite myself and the rest of the band asking him to stop multiple times. We started off sounding ok but by the end of the show, two of four instruments were inaudible. read more

First of all: THREE DOLLAR BOWLING! I am not making this up, and for all the Angelinos reading this review via my page this is not even per game ---- this is ALL FRIGGIN NIGHT! We arrived a little after 9 and midnight rolled around and we were still playing on the same $3 crusted up old bills. There are some negatives however, and this is where the deduction of stars come in. First and foremost those balls were jacked up! Now, I'm no Al Bundy - or extreme bowler - but I know enough about bowling to know that bowling balls should not have half inch chunks missing out of them. I suck at bowling, and this was even throwing off the game of people that I know are good at bowling. Unless you bring your own ball keep it into consideration that it will be hard to find a weight that is good for you (couldn't find anything under 9lbs), or balls without giant chunks missing. The second negative is the bowling shoes were velcro, instead of the traditional lace up, this lead to the shoes (even if they were the correct size) feeling a little bit loose and uncomfortable. If you can get over chipped balls and loose shoes however when you look at the grand scheme of things bowling here is RIDICULOUSLY SUPER DUPER AMAZINGLY CHEAP. We paid $3 per person and bowled for like three and a half hours. Add onto that $5 pitchers of Coors and a mix of super cheesy 90's and up to date current music videos and it all makes for a fun evening. read more

I like this old school bowling alley in Lafayette. There isn't much to the place from the outside, but inside it your average run of the mill alley. Yes, it is showing it's wear, but on a Friday afternoon 5 of us bowled 3 game w/shoe rental for $40! I thought that was awesome. Plus the lanes were well taken care of and we didn't experience any malfunctions with the equipment. I thought they needed a few more lighter bowling balls and I never understand why when the entire place is empty they put all the separate parties right next to each other (give us all some space!). Music selection seemed to be Loretta Lynn, George Straight, Pasty Cline and the Beatles on loop. I personally loved it. I would go back! read more

My husband and I enjoy going here, although my husband (more skilled than I) claims that the lanes are a little slick for his preference. But they have great deals...pretty much every single night they have a different deal going on you just have to check the website because they change seasonally. Haven't eaten anything there... so we can't comment on the food. The pub is connected so you can easily get drinks and they have drink specials. Cosmic bowling on weekend nights is fun, big screen tv's play music videos and whatever game is on. I've seen a mix of families, HS kids and college-aged. read more

Well, what can you say.... this bowling alley was here long before I was born, or so it seems. I remember going here when I was growing up and I'd swear it hasn't changed a bit. They have managed to add automatic scoring technology at some point in the last 20 years so at least you don't have to figure out how to add a couple strikes together. The service was all right, altho she forgot to actually turn on the lane. And every single ball we could find looked 30 years old, full of scratches and dents and had chunks missing. read more

I love the pinball league every thursday in the pub not the bowling ally part. They have 3 new pins some oldr ones and at best price around they have 10 pinball tables in the north end pub and are a ton old fun to play. And all but 2 are free to play on Wednesday every week. I used to love this place. I MEAN LOVE! I was in the late night bar and restaurant staff bowling league. it was great. Cosmic bowling, cheap, fun people, friendly staff. That was... admittedly, years ago. like, 2007. Anyways, I visited this home town favorite may 14th. I didn't have my kit, so I got some house shoes and ball. My dad, sister and I got all set up and on my very first roll, I ate it. normally, I end on my left foot and slide a few inches. (My shoes are soft felt, so I assumed it was the house shoes.) The attendant scratched the bottom of the shoes down with this crazy wire brush and said, "Try that." It didn't work. 72 hours later I still have a gnarley purple bruise on my kneecap, and residual pulled muscle pain. I thought it was my inherent "gracefullness" that was the cause, but the group of gentlemen next to us had 3 our of 5 of them fall too. Total crap. The house balls are old and really beat up. they played the song "fascination" 3 times during our 2 hours. and then randomly turned it into cosmic bowling while we were there. now for the good parts. It's cheap. cheapest in town really. $6 per person for 2 hours of unlimited bowling. $1 shoe rental with this deal. we bowled 3 games at a moderate pace, and they extended our time limit by 15 minutes so we could finish up our last game. Jerilee's pub is attached to the alley, and they are decent. They didn't have any Sam Adams, so my dad drank a Guinness bottled. My fruity drink was good. The bartender admittied she poured it heavy, which i'm fine with. Cheap drinks. I managed to bowl 159 (including a turkey :D) in spite of the dry approach. The mix of people was good, and it's family friendly. They have 2 large projectors that end up on the wall above the lanes, which is a little trippy during cosmic bowling. they also have 2 large flat screens in the middle of the area. Meh. If you want cheap bowling this is the palce to go. read more

I tried to go here to bowl one morning. I looked up beforehand: they open at 9am. I got there at about 9:10am and the doors were locked. I waited for a few minutes, thinking "well maybe they just forgot about it". After waiting for about 5 minutes, I called them. No response, not even voicemail. I ended up waiting until about 9:20am (20 minutes AFTER they were supposed to be open), and then left. Ruined my morning and I don't think I'll ever go back here again. read more

I went for the Monday night deal of $3 for 3 hours of bowling and $5 pitchers of beer. In my last game, I had finished my 9th frame and was having the best game of my life (about to break 200 for the first time for me), and my time ran out. I offered the staff to pay for another full game to just finish my last frame and they scoffed and said I could throw one more ball (which wouldn't be counted in my score as they had already deleted my game score). The staff acted annoyed when I requested to pay for a full game to play just one frame to achieve a personal best score. As an avid sports fan and competitor, I can't rightfully say I have ever scored a 200 while bowling because this bowling alley has taken away my ability to complete a game which I offered to pay well over cost to complete for my own personal score. read more

Do not bother with this bowling alley! I called and reserved 2 lanes for 8 people. We had two families that were coming from an hour away to meet here to bowl. We both arrived on time and had to wait in line to check in. By the time we got to the front of the line they had already given our two reserved lanes away. The man was extremely rude and didn't care at all! The 4 young kids we had with us were very disappointed! If you want a nice family friendly place do NOT choose this place! read more
