I was told another stand would be sent. A week later, no stand. I called and was told it would be delivered the following week. I expressed dissatisfaction in the stand taking two weeks to be delivered (as I was unable to use my water delivery due to this). No apology. The next week, the stand was delivered, unboxed, just sitting on my porch. I'm no longer surprised that the original stand was damaged in transit seeing as no protective wrap is used. When I called to ask about normal delivery protocol since my new stand is looking quite shabby, I was told the driver follows whatever directions are on the account and leaves the stand if no one is home. Not my point. My point was it looks beat up. And it's not from the few hours it sat on my porch. The customer service rep blew me off and essentially hung up on me. Unreal.

Everyone who works at Eastlake knows what they're talking about and are willing to take the time out of their day to answer questions for your project. Every time I need it my lawn mower or snow blower repaired I would drop it off to them knowing it was coming back in working condition. The staff would also tell you what was wrong with it for your own knowledge. I couldn't see going anywhere else for my rental or my repair needs.

I was relieved to have been referred here by a fellow customer at Home Depot!…read more I needed to rent a gas powered chain saw for a DIY project so I've been trying for 2 weekends in a row to get one at HD. They have 4 to rent, but 2 were broken for those weeks and the other 2 were never available. When I finally called at 6am on a Monday thinking it would be an ideal time, I was told they did have the 2 in stock. I rushed over and when the rep tried testing each before renting them out, they wouldn't start, so now all 4 of what they have available needed service. I was obviously frustrated for not able to get a hold of a saw and for the wasted time and effort for making the trip over. Thankfully another customer there mentioned McManus which happened to be 2 miles away. I called them later that morning, was told they had a saw available so I made the trip. I was handed what looked like a brand new Makita and given extra container of gas and chain oil for the same price as HD, BUT HD only offers one tank of oil and gas and you're on your own if you run out of them during the project - I needed to refill 3 times during mine, so the extras made it hassle free on that front! What brings their service over-the-top (and the extra star) was that they replaced the chain I had dulled during use without any hassle. I wasn't looked at suspiciously or accused of misusing their equipment. They took it back from me, replaced the chain, was given recommendations on how to avoid dulling the edges and sent back on the road without getting charged for the service or replacement! I was able to make it back home and finish my project for the day. Obviously I would recommend McManus Rentals!
