Yesterday we had the crew of Tony, Art and Joey to do a service on our ac duct work and they were beyond excellent.The entire team was professional , courteous and knowledgeable and there was not a spec of dust to be found after the cleanup. We were not expecting the amount of work they had to do to clean our duct work ( 3 floors) as they were here about 3 additional hours of the original time estimate. In addition to the ac ducts they cleaned our dryer ducts and it was really a fire hazard that we were completely unaware of. If you haven't done your ac system and dryer ducts do no hesitate to call them, you will be very thankful that you did. After reviewing the step by step videos that Tony did on our system both my children and sister will be calling Tony. In most every other context "suck" is a pejorative; disparaging something or someone in some way. Not so at Wyckoff Vacuum Center which "sucks good" because their skilled repairs restore the "suck" to your vacuum, and the products they sell are the best available suckers on the market. I know, I know. Groan. Corny -- but bear with me here. In an age where traditional brick and mortar repair shops are elbowing each other into oblivion -- and household appliances and gadgets fail quickly due to planned obsolescence and generally poor quality, it's refreshing to find the one repair outfit in the area that survived as the fittest of its kind. Ben is the man with the plan here. Courteous, knowledgeable, fully stocked with all manner of sucking devices, from whole house units to little hand held ones. Advice on purchases is free and he does not push a particular product or the highest priced model. He asks about your needs and will tailor a solution, even if it means a low price sale, refurbish of an old machine or no sale at all. Old school. My 20 year old Miele canister vac needed some minor repairs. Ben ordered the parts and serviced the unit, thoroughly cleaned it and threw in some bags for well under $100. A bargain in my book considering the vac costs a grand new. He had it back to me in 3 days, as promised. Forget box stores or the internet for your vacuum needs. This place is the real deal and worth a look if you live in the area, or even if you have to travel a bit. No surprise that everyone who bothered to write a review rates Ben at 5 stars. Support this local business!!! My very expensive vacuum broke in the middle of this pandemic. Not a good thing. I did not know what to do. The owner offered curbside repair and fixed it ASAP. Not only that he saved me a fortune because he was able to get the motor under warranty. The service was excellent. He even gave me his cell phone. And to top it off. Purchased a Miele vacuum on sale. Needless to say Im disappointed in the product. I had to bring it back several times because the power brush suction controls were ridiculously difficult to switch. If you didn't step on the lever the correct way you would be fighting with it to work. Poor quality on Miele part. Also not happy with the suction. It doesn't grab little particles along wall trim. I don't plan on purchasing another Miele again not for that price even on sale. read more

Great service! They fixed my Miele vacuum after I pulled the hose so hard up the stairs, it ripped right off the machine. They ordered a new hose for me and even did a temporary fix so I could still use my vacuum while we waited for the part to come in. Took my vacuum in because it fell down the stairs and the release broke off...they were so great...he took the time to get the part warranteed, and even cleaned the debris out. Works (and looks) like new! He even sprayed some kind of delicious strawberry scented refreshner on (I'm guessing) the filter, so when i vacuum it leaves behind a really nice scent.
