My initial interactions with Shawn began when I was looking to get a cover up of an old tattoo reworked and cleaned up. From the moment I introduced myself to him, he was warm, friendly, and welcoming. He immediately put me at ease with a well thought out plan on how to fix up and rework the piece. He took the time to listen to my thoughts and offered creative suggestions. Shawn was transparent from the beginning that he stands behind his work fully and will do whatever it takes to bring your vision to light. Beyond his integrity, the thing that stood out most to me was how incredibly passionate Shawn is about the reputation of his shop. How deeply he cares about the business that he has undoubtedly put his heart and soul into building. How meaningful it is to uphold his standing as an honest and reputable shop. BEST TATTOO SHOP IN NEW JERSEY FOR SURE!!! My bf and I came in for him to look at some tattoos. He told one of the tattoo artist that he was looking to spend $100-$150 on a tattoo. The guy said to get an idea of what he wants. After, looking he found a few that he liked. But, wasn't in his price range. The man then said well we do have an apprentice here today you can take a look at her art and let us know. My boyfriend was thinking okay I'm assuming she charges around my price range. He asked how much it would be and the guy said it is free!!! My boyfriend was all in at this point. He had an amazing experience with Claire and left with a bad ass tattoo. He even went back a few weeks after that and got another one. The owner Shawn is amazing!! He's super nice. Even talked about the New Jersey devils while getting his tattoo done. Over all an amazing experience. The vibe is great everyone just talking and laughing. Every single one of the staff members are great as well. Unfortunately, Claire isn't doing free tattoos anymore. If you're excited to get a tattoo don't go to this place .they don't return calls, they make you wait over a week .you can call there how many times you want in a day and they don't return any calls.or emails. even if you go there The guy said he doesn't even know where the artist went.no one was there.i went back again still no one there this was a total waste of time. one week shot .very unprofessional.not customer-oriented at all .I donot recommend.i Don't even want to give them one star but you can't give them zero.cause this place sucks. My first time here was back in January and it was my first tattoo. Even though the piece was simple, Vinny made me feel so comfortable and made a really meaningful experience so much better. I really can't say enough good things about this place. Super clean and such a comfortable atmosphere! A friend recommended this place to me and I'm so thankful that he did. I came here to get an old tattoo covered up (that someone else had done) and Shawn did such an amazing job. I really can't believe how talented he is!
