I have to say that the staff keeps the place immaculately clean. They are always painting and fixing things. The classes and teachers are more than adequate. The fitness center is extensive. The pool is always clean and well-staffed.

After seeing an ad on social media and as someone who will try anything at least once, I was super…read moreexcited to try one of Crew Fitness' indoor rowing class. Crew Fitness will offer you your first class for free, which also made the decision to go even easier. The indoor rowing class alternates between rowing intervals on the rower and body-sculpting movements off of the rower. Each class is 45 min of a low impact, high intensity work out. I would compare it mostly to a spin class setting because lights are turned down while on the rowers, and the music is loud and energetic throughout the entirety of the class. What's also great is that classes at Crew Fitness are designed for everyone at all different fitness levels. Also, you can either book your classes online on their website, or download their app which is super convenient! For my first class I had Amy as my instructor. Amy also gave me a tour of the facility which included men's and women's showers and restrooms, a locker room area to place your belongings, and a child care room that is open during the morning and early afternoon class sessions. Weights, mats, and towels are also provided by Crew Fitness, so all you have to bring is yourself and some water! Amy was extremely helpful in showing me how to properly set myself up on the rower, and even went over some technique moves so I would feel more comfortable and understand some of the lingo before the class started. After participating in more classes with a variety of instructors, I've come to learn that the staff and instructors there are all super nice, supportive, and welcoming. There are 5 classes offered at different times of the day on Monday-Thursday, and 1 Saturday morning class every week. You can purchase class packages or participate in monthly class memberships. Some of the packages can be pricey if you're wanting to go often. On the low end, a single class is $20 and at the high end, an unlimited monthly membership will run you $150 a month. However, Crew Fitness is always running specials and deals that you can check out on their social media and website. And if you're like me and fall in love with Crew Fitness, a workout I can finally enjoy, it will be worth every penny! Lastly, another great thing I've enjoyed learning about Crew Fitness is their involvement in the Mobile community. Crew Fitness has been known to fundraise and row for local charities and help support and promote other local small businesses in the area. Whether you're trying to find a new workout routine or just add some variety to your current one, definitely check out Crew Fitness for a high-engery and full-body workout!

I've never attended any gyms other than the YMCA, so this one was a little intimidating at first…read more It's a somewhat hidden gem, located behind McLean's Martial Arts, and is owned by the Adams person. The instructor was very helpful in explaining how each station worked and what I have to do at each one. He wasn't bothered by me asking for reminders periodically either, which made me feel better. You currently get a one week free trial, which includes the use of bag gloves. Paid members get their own bag gloves and a heart rate monitor, which you use during the workout to track your heart rate & calories burned, which is displayed on a tv screen while you work out, and recorded in the app you download. (I can't speak much about that since I'm still on the free trial. I'll update later if I decide to start a membership.) It has 12 different stations that you perform different exercises at and they change it up daily so you never get bored with the same routine. It's fast paced and hardcore, and I'd be lying if I didn't say I felt like vomiting when I left today! My legs also felt like jello, which means I'll be walking around like a baby giraffe tomorrow. Overall, I feel awesome and can't wait to go back.

Pavilions have electric power outlet plug ins, I did not see any restrooms or water faucets, maybe they are inside the civic club building. There is a baseball diamond and backstop at the far end of the park. There is also a circular paved walking track with benches & outdoor fitness equipment. Most of the park is open green space for events & sports. Park is right off of highway, signs for both Stockton Civic Club & Old School Yard Park & parking lot. A shallow stream/ rain water run off run through center of park, which is totally surrounded on almost all sides by the woods. Large water tower at front of park.
