DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!
From the beginning I had a bad experience while looking for an apartment. My wife works out of town and so could only be available on Sunday's to view the apartment. I called and spoke to Lisa who responded saying that her assistant would be available to meet with us. I had my wife come up from where our usual residence is (which is almost a 4hr drive away) and the assistant was a no show.. we got no response from numerous phone calls to either and when I contacted the office the Monday I was told that the assistant had car trouble and that Lisa was out of town.... It really sux that Lisa's assistant does not apparently have a cellular phone that she could have used to contact me that day.
Anyway moving on to Monday... I visited the place and was shown an apartment that smelled, had mold on the ceiling, with walls and floors that are dirty with stains and every time I asked the maintenance person who showed me around questions like, "can this be replaced and can this be fixed" the response was that the office buckle and dimes everything and that it was really hard to replace anything.
The response as well from the office staff was on the order of, if it works- no matter how horrendous it looks you're stuck with it. I was also given the impression on numerous occasions that this is it... No improvements will be made so take it as is or leave it... If I haven't even signed the lease yet and they're already treating me crappy I can only imagine how they would treat me if I had moved in...
In the end I think that I made the right decision not to move here.
Hope this helps others to make theirs. read more
