They kept my $150 deposit after I mistakenly missed my appointment. Following that, they called another patient that I know attends their practice and offered them the appointment slot so in theory, they are double dipping. I like the dentist, I think he is very good at dental work but having no grace for mistakes is appalling. Consider charging a missed appointment fee instead of taking someone's entire deposit. read more

Get a second opinion. After 6 cavities across 3 visits I decided to get a second opinion before filling the latest 2. Turns out, those two cavities Dr. B found don't actually exist. Really regret the ridiculously expensive bite guard I got, since two other dentists have now said there's no evidence in-house bite guards are more effective than OTC (but man are they more expensive and all that money stays here). And that's not even to mention the hygienist who didn't know how to mix the mold for the bite guard so got it stuck on my teeth. An oopsie or apology would have been nice, but after the whispered freak out behind my head, no one so much as acknowledged the pain this caused. read more

This is truly one of the best dentist I've ever been to and I highly recommend them. I went to Dr.Bailey because I was having problems with my current dentist. My dentist did an extraction that left me in pain for months because no one could tell me why I was in so much pain and discomfort. Dr. Bailey although he was not my dentist worked with me diligently to find the source of my pain. He discovered that there were fragments left from the extraction done by my dentist who performed the extraction. He contacted my dentist to inform him of his findings and we were able to get the problem resolved. He treated me with great care and even called me at home to follow up on things. Dr. Bailey did more and cared more for me then my dentist that caused the problem and I wasn't even his patient. North River also have excellent technology machines and provide a super thorough service. I am so thankful to Dr. Bailey and wish I would have selected him first. I hate going to the dentist. Always have. It makes me super anxious and uncomfortable. My experience today at North River Dental finally put me at ease. The waiting room had comfy chairs and offered complimentary water though I didn't spend much time there as I was called back promptly. I was a new patient and the dentist wanted to get to know me before jumping into the exam. I've never had a doctor that ever cared to ask about my life before beginning an exam. He was so informative and every upfront about costs and prioritizing treatments which I appreciated. He explained things I've never had a dentist explain before.
