I have been bringing my 3 Vehicles to Sabi Gill @ North Road Auto for the past 9 years. My 1990 Chevy tracker,1992 Acura Integra and my 2006 Honda Civic. The first time was with my 1992 black Acura.The window stopped working so I figured i was needing a new motor.Nope.Sabi repaired a broken wire for a minimal service charge.Off to a great Start. Then the starter problem. I had replaced a starter myself from a rebuilt shop and it was defective.Sabi was able to figure this out.Since then I knew i had found my repair shop. His shop has been doing oil changes,starters,,master cylinders,tires,Brakes Alternaters and services on my cars.Always repaired correctly and affordably. Its nice to see a familiar face at a garage shop with someone who knows you and your vehicles anytime you need auto repairs. Sabis shop is very qualified with very honest and reliable mechanics and I would not take my car anywhere else. I have previously worked at a Chevrolet dealership for 5 years.i would distribute service work orders to mechanics (12 of them) so i have seen the inside of the automotive business. Had the misfortune of dealing with a flat tire and North road wasn't exactly my go to at the time but because it was nearby, convenient and they miraculously had time to squeeze me in, I took the jumped at the opportunity - and boy am I ever glad that I did. They were friendly and quick to accommodate. I dropped off my car walked home and waited for their call. He quoted me about an hour and the whole service probably took 1.25 hours. When I picked up my vehicle the kind man informed me that he sealed my tire and pumped up my spare tire to its correct pressure. The best part about all of this was that it cost me under $30! I live just five minutes from North Road Auto Repair and was having problems with my brakes. I called them and they said to come in and they would take a look. I got there about 10 minutes later and waited only about 45 minutes until they gave me a free courtesy car so that I could carry on with my day. After I left they called and told me what was wrong and how much it would cost to fix and asked if they could keep my car overnight. Not a problem for me because of the courtesy car. First thing the next morning, they called and said it was done. Service was amazing, the people were amazing and that along with the courtesy car is going to guarantee my business going forward. Came here for a oil change, quick in and out. The guys who did it were fast however the guy who works at the front was a bit off putting. I asked where he could recommend a place for " body work" near by and he was quite reluctant in telling me and kept saying to google and search online to see if certain shops did body work. This is fine however recommendations are always best I find within the industry ( its like he didn't' want others to get business as North Road Auto Repair doesn't do body work). As a business owner my self if a client wanted a recommendation for a service we did not offer I would definitely have a list in my computer/ phone book of one that I could potentially recommend for moments like these. Great service! Leaving work one day my car started making s horrible noise. I drove here because it was the closest shop to me and was pleasantly surprised! He immediately took my car in to check it out and fixed the problem for me (the heat shield over my brake had just shifted and he just moved it back) and he wasn't even going to charge me! Since I needed an oil change and my breaks done I decided to book my appointment here since I had received such great service and again..service was on point quick service, very honest/trustworthy guy at the from desk and no hidden fees. He showed me my old brakes compared to new ones to show the difference in pads. It was all just exceptional customer service! I'll be heading over again soon for my next oil change and winter tune up. read more

I got a flat tire on Lougheed close to Lougheed Shopping Centre. A google search told us we were close to North Road Auto Repair. We arrived at about noon with a CRV with a very flat tire . By 1:15 they had installed my spare and determined what had happened to the unrepairable flat tire. All done at no charge to me. How kind. This shop is honest and reliable. Great service. I take my car here all the time. They replaced the routers on my brakes when they were worn (got a second opinion to see if they were honest, they were) . My car had a misfire in the cylinders, they replaced only that problem and didnt try to upsale me. They were also quick and direct to anwser when I enquired about the other problems. The breaks on my car were failing and these guys got me in right away and fixed my car by the time I was off work. For the amount of stuff they had to replace(my car was screwed up from a faulty "fix" before hand, it was pretty reasonable! North Rd Auto Repair lifted the car on a hoist and examined the exhaust system. My car needed a new muffler, tailpipe and a short pipe next to the engine.. I went into the office for an estimate. The estimate total was $ 521.45 including taxes. They could do the work the next day. Instead I went for a second opinion/estimate. Muffler Man, Burnaby BC did job for $ 122.69 including parts,labour and taxes. read more

Do not go here. I brought a Nissan pathfinder in for a oil change and when they removed the old filter they did not wipe down the surface for the new filter. Thy left dirt and crap and put the new filter on. I have indents in the rubber seal from it being pressed onto the dirt. Anyways over time the leak will get worse.... It was squirting out between the seal and the engine dumping oil everywhere! Simple oil change? Are you kidding? So one of two things happened here. The mechanic purposely did this so i would come back for them to "look at it" and of course screw me out of money or they have really crappy mechanics. Either way. Wrong guy. I know a lot about vehicles but i just dont have the tools or setup to work on my vehicle so Ill take it to a mechanic that I'm hoping i can trust. This was a simple oil change......... Go somewhere else. These guys are scammers but most are so be careful who you go to for mechanic work. read more
