First Sunday we ate there and they didn't have goat curry on the buffet. A lot of unfamiliar faces, Did they change owners?

Came here for a lunch buffet one Sunday and quite honestly I don't think I will be back. I found the food to be extremely watered down to the point where even eating with naan would not catch anything. With that watery consistency, came the fact that the food was essentially flavorless and had the essence of some kind of masala. Some of the food - like the mango pulp - were overly dyed and appeared unnaturally bright and unappetizing. Truly, I was really looking forward to eating here but was left disappointed and wanting much more. My thoughts are that the regular order food is probably more digestible but this lunch buffet has deterred me from ever finding out. I would not recommend this place for those who know authentic flavors and taste in Indian food. read more

This is the worst Indian Restaurant! I've been there twice. Today, I ordered Dahl. It was awful, and had no depth. So I had to throw that away. Next, I ordered chicken tikka masala. Their yelp posted pictures are NOT TRUE. I went there for a mixed grill plate, that says it has lamb. The Picture has equal amounts of lamb , chicken, and different chicken. I cut 2 small DRY lamb with, and they didn't make things right when I mentioned it. It's over priced for the amount and quality of food. Place is dirty and run down. This is our second time there and we both give an A+ review. We got the vegetable pakora for an appetizer and the 306 onion dosa and the 801 butter shrimp. The garlic naan was fresh and just delightful. Will definitely be going back! read more

I have been to this place multiple times, and I plan to average out my review here. This is one of the most decent place that serves Indian food in the area. So if you are craving for Indian, this is the place to go. I have tried all of their appetizers ( vegetarian), veg pakora and Gobi Manchurian( cauliflower Manchurian) would be on top for me. I didn't like their chili paneer as it had too much ketchup and chili flakes for my taste. Masala dosa is decent too. For entree, saag paneer , palak paneer , malai kofta ( all vegetarian) are good. I enjoy their garlic naan too. You can't go wrong with Indian deserts. Gulab jamun, mango custard, Rasmalai. I like them all. Wait time is longer than usual, but I don't mind as long as I am getting good food! Place is clean and have authentic Indian appeal to it. Would recommend trying if you are in the area. read more

This place is awesome!!! When we first moved here, we were told to try it, but time got away, then COVID, so 6-ish months later here we are and WOW. Everyone was kind and patient while we googled half the menu before ordering. For those who want to know about COVID precautions- wear your mask to the table, everting is easily cleanable and done in between each customer. They have limited capacity, so they ask that you call ahead and make a reservation. They also have a drive through for picking up orders. Alright we tried chicken tikka marsala(my favorite even if everyone thinks it's lame), chicken vindaloo, jeera rice, chicken tikka, vegetable biryani (which they call something else with a "Lou" at the end), and vegetable pakora. I wish I had taken pictures because the presentation was pretty awesome too. We ordered way too much food, but I forgot that most Indian restaurants serve family style sized dishes... lots of leftovers. I was skeptical of the Jeera rice. It has cumin seeds in it. Delightfully tasty with this little pockets of salty. Everything else was delicious. I'm not a fan of the chicken tikka, but only because it's more like a dry rub seasoning. Definitely a place to return and eat in or order take out.. maybe one day try the buffet and sample more dishes. read more

We walked in about 8pm, was greeted by some very friendly faces, and was seated right away. They started us off with complimentary papadum crackers and a variety of chutney. Mint, onion, and tamarind, the tamarind was my favorite. When I opened the menu, you have no idea how excited I was to see Indo-Chinese dishes on the menu! I haven't seen Indo-chinese dishes since I was in Cali...but we went with the usual dishes that I usually order at Indian restaurants. We got the mixed grill, which includes tandoori chicken, chicken tikka, lamb kabob, tandoori shrimp, and marinated lamb chunks. Boy oh boy was it good!! Everything was so well seasoned, cooked, and marinated. I absolutely enjoyed every bite! We also got the butter shrimp, there were plenty of succulent shrimp, a tad sweeter than what I'm used to, but still delicious. Next was the Paneer tikka masala, more my style, chunks of cheese in curry perfect when dipped with hot garlic naan bread. Every entree came with rice. The staff was friendly, the owner even came to talk to several tables, very personable. The place is clean and spacious, would be great for big dinner parties. I really enjoyed the food, and can't wait to come back to try a little of everything from the buffet (they have lunch buffets on Sunday's), gotta try the Indo-Chinese too!! Looks can be deceiving! The spot is a former mass buffet restaurant. (Perhaps a Western Sizzlin' or Ryan's type vibe?) Excellent food! We had a very nice experience, and the spice level was just right! The garlic naan was very yummy!! This will definitely be my go to Indian food spot from now on. The only thing I say work on is seating, we were sat right under an large air vent and right beside the only other occupied table. There were 2 booths with people in them as well, I know they have to go by certain things when seating people but I recommend just look around the room and see where they would be comfortable. This is a good Indian restaurant. I want for lunch yesterday with my wife. We had the lunch buffet which was nice with a good selection of items. Most were hot and fresh. I was sad there was not butter chicken on service that day. For some people the food is going to be a bit spicy, it was fine for us. If you only get mid wings heat any spiciness in your food this is not the place for you. Over all it was a good experience. read more

I just want to share our bad experience, I hope it will be noticed by the owner of the restaurant. So there is one staff member, I guess named Deepak, who always misbehaves and shows arrogance, his behaviour is very very very very offensive, I think only with the Indian Groups as we observed. Today we went for a buffet and just asked for ketchup, He said it will take 20 mins to just bring the ketchup, that too his reply was with arrogance, there are so many bad incidents happened earlier as well where he has misbehaved and we have ignored. We are so polite with him even if he will be talking rashly, does he talk with everyone like that, or is it something with the race discrimination??? Just delicious! We were road tripping through and were delighted to find this place. we came in for the Sunday buffet. We were a little late, but it was freshly refilled and the restaurant still busy. The food was fantastic -- especially the dal, channa masala, and rasam. We absolutely loved this place. The service staff & manager were very polite & friendly. We were a group of 8 - 5 adults & 3 kids. We ordered Mix Grill Platter (Non Veg) for starters and it was delicious. One platter was "Indian Spice" and other was "Medium". For main course we ordered Aachari Chicken & Lamb Rogan Josh with "Indian Spice" levels. The Indian Spice level was perfectly spices with just the right amount of heat to keep it deliciously flavorful. Aachari Chicken - wasn't close to how we expect aachari chicken to be but the different style of preparation was really good - was different but delicious. I was so excited to try Tadka as was craving Indian food since moving to Brandon from Oregon. I was surprised that I couldn't order from the menu at lunch since there was buffet only. I didn't know buffets were still a thing during Covid times. Sadly, my guest and I were disappointed in the food. The chicken 365 was good but much of the dishes were dry and the sauces seemed like they had been sitting around for a while. Pretty average Indian food, nothing special. To start off its a pretty clean place but the service was awful right off the bat our server was very rude to me when I placed our order. We ordered the mixed appetizer plate honestly that was a joke we should've asked how much of everything was included but for $10 totally not worth it. The appetizer also tasted like they had made the fried food earlier in the day and left it under a heating lamp. Also ordered the paneer tikka masala (just okay), palak paneer (just okay), and Malia kofta (pretty good) and the mixed bread which was not bad. Overall not impressed. Great experience. Our waitress was very polite and accommodating. We both love Indian cuisine, so there was no surprises. We ask the waitress for her suggestions, and she did not disappoint. We had the chicken Kimora and the chicken Marsala. Great food, great atmosphere, polite knowledgeable staff. One indicator that we were in the right place for Indian cuisine, when we walked in there were 4 tables open in the restaurant, all the other tables were occupied by people of Indian culture. Didn't realize that they served buffet style the first half and from the menu for dinner service. I absolutely loved and got my fill on chicken tikka masala!! That is my go to dish and have never been let down. Naan was really good too. I would suggest checking with the Indian restaurant in Starkville that serves cheese naan bread, I bet everyone around here would go nuts for that!! Loved the food and will definitely come back!!
