There are not many good Chinese restaurants in town that you can find in Mississippi. But I am glad I give a try this restaurant today. Normally I would go to Mr. Chen if I am craving Chinese food. This time I had same order that I usually like in any Chinese restaurant, Ma Po tofu, and it comes with rice. It was actually very delicious and generous portion in terms of tofu size and favoring. Ultimately a restaurant is about food and service. I have been here about once a month since my first review. The food has always been hot, fresh and tasty. I almost feel like I'm part of the family. It appears that mother and daughters are always here. They try very hard and it shows. The ambience is still a dive, but one that is growing on me. I wish them well more than ever. Better signage and marketing would help. Word of mouth however seems to be working. Fast, clean, good service with plentiful, predictable flavored dishes. I change my rating to 5. read more

I go here almost every time I am in town for work. I love their healthy option of the steamed shrimp with vegetables. The sauce they give me on the side is delicious! I like that this option (without sauce) has no sugar, salt, or oil. It is hard finding something Whole30-compliant while on the road. The young girl just stared at me when I went to pay and didn't bother to tell me how much, I had to look at the register, she gave me my change and returned to her computer. I first got takeout here for my wife because we had a few coupons for it, so we figured it's worth a try. My wife began raving about the food from he first bite, remarking that it was really good, tasting like they were using fresh ingredients and that it was clean (not greasy). The whole family got take out from their tonight and she was absolutely right -- I had the General Tso's Chicken Combination Platter and the chicken was very well prepared. The sauce had enough kick to make you take notice without burning up your taste buds and the rice had enough sauce to be tasty but wasn't dominated by soy.
