This place combines the taste of the Mediterranean that it promises with a local touch. It's a splendid building with a lot of seating, and I got quick service. The ambiance combines a residential atmosphere with pictures of Grecian islands with an occasional touch of Jerimiah was a Bullfrog on the speakers. I got my falafel in pita form, but had other vegetarian options, including pitas based on cheese or mushrooms as well as several salads. I went indulgent though, adding a sliced fried potato which was delicious with just a touch of salt. My sandwich was loaded with onions and tzatziki and was excellent falafel. I finished it very quickly. Also notable was the fact that they had generous hours and were open on Sundays, which none of the other places I bookmarked in Jackson were.

I spent the night in Jackson, MS on my way from Texas to Georgia. The next day, I searched Yelp for a place to eat, and this place was highly rated. I love gyros, but I expected more of a hole-in-the-wall shack. That...was...not...this...place! This place, this amazing place is a huge house with a wrap around porch. The kind of porch you find at a plantation that can accommodate multiple tables and chairs and plants and people. The inside was just as amazing. There were so many brightly painted rooms, and they were large and spacious and filled with people getting their Sunday brunch. Jackson is not a very big city. It seemed like everyone was here. This is a place to be seen and catch up with friends. The parking lot is large and it was packed with cars, but I was lucky enough to find a spot. I was surprised to see a security vehicle parked in the lot and a security guard on premise near the entrance. I'm not sure what kind of problems they have had in the past, but they seemed prepared to give their guests a hassle-free experience. The businesses and houses in the area all seemed normal and decently maintained. I didn't see anyone panhandling nor were there any tent cities to be found. Perhaps the security on staff prevents that problem from developing. Everyone entered through the main entrance of the house near the fountain and sign out front. The woman at the register was busy closing out customer tabs, but she would stop periodically and offer those of us who entered a menu and invite us to seat ourselves. There were a lot of available tables both inside and out. The spring weather was glorious and the numerous trees and greenery around the building kept the area cool and comfortable, so I opted for a table on the patio. A young man rushing from table to table stopped at mine to take my drink order and was back in a flash even though he was busting his butt to work at least a dozen tables of various group sizes. Service was hurried, but quick and efficient. My gyro was out in a flash. Even though the CDC was no longer recommending masks for those who were vaccinated, all of the staff were wearing masks and signage on the front door still required customers to wear a mask to enter. Once seated, customers did not wear masks. Even though I was vaccinated against COVID, I thought it best to eat outside on the patio and wear my mask until my food was served. Other customers at the restaurant clearly didn't care. It truly felt like the pandemic had never hit here. My gyro was packed with meat, tzatki sauce, onions, and lettuce. Had there not been a paper wrapper around the pita bread, the sandwich would have fallen apart. It was busting at the seams, but managed to stay together with every bite and gentle tear at the wrapper to expose more deliciousness. I didn't have to wait for the waiter, but gladly would have in order to enjoy the relaxed ambiance. Instead, I grabbed my tab and headed to the register at the front to checkout. I even got a refill of sweet iced tea for the road. They were so quick and efficient there. Whether you are in a hurry or not, they will take care of you.

Very nice seating outside and friendly service. The Pita Wraps and Fried Potato were very good! Will be a repeat lunch place for sure!

Went to Keifer's today around 4:00pm today and had the gyro cottage fries and Hummus as an appetizer. Was surprisingly entertained by a mouse running around my feet. Paid 23 dollars to have a mouse dancing around my food for fun. I'd say save ur money and wait for the madison location to open. Please get this fixed. Health issue. Eat @ ur own risk.

It was alright, a little salty in all honesty but at least there's a lot of meat. The server really did not want to be there at all.

I stopped by twice in one week to see what the locals mean when they say, "If you want a good…read moresalad, stop by Loaded Lettuce." I first stopped by on Tuesday, and I got a salad with a few toppings and a loaded baked potato, which led to stopping by tonight. I can say that was one good potato and salad. So tonight, I went for an even bigger salad with pecans on top and a container of chicken salad with crackers. I actually ordered the chicken salad by mistake, but that was the best mistake. I was trying to order a salad, but I said chicken salad. I didn't realize my mistake until she brought it out. The girl working there was so sweet about my mistake, and I quickly interrupted her, saying that I could keep the chicken salad and order the salad too. Now, like I said earlier, that was the best mistake because the chicken salad was so good. I ate the whole thing in one setting. I even ate half of my big salad, too. So I will tell you this, just like the locals say, "If you are looking for a good salad, this is the place." But I would like to add that the chicken salad is a must-order. Not to mention that the people are so friendly, and the atmosphere is very relaxed. I believe if you could dine in, no one would leave.

My bag was hefty, so I knew that the salad was going to be big Everything was so fresh, I finished my whole salad, and I have to say say I'm happily full.. The lady in the front had amazing customer service! I got my salad less than 10 minutes. He insisted that he move our tables to be one big table. I told him it was okay because I didnt want to bother him, but he insisted, saying he wanted me and my little nephew to be comfortable. He handed us the menus, and we decided to order three different pizzas and the Pretzel Bites for the appetizer. The first pizza was the Three Little Pigs, a delicious combination of Italian sausage, pepperoni, applewood bacon, fresh basil, marinara, and mozzarella. This one was by far my favorite. The bacon and sausage had a spicy flavor, and the mozzarella was thick and gooey. One bite and the cheese would stretch for days. The other two, the Pepperoni and Chicken Alfredo, were right up there, too. I like that the Chicken Alfredo tasted more like a pizza than not. It had all the combinations of a Chicken Alfredo pasta dish, but with the spices and marinara sauces, it was a sweet combination of both, but it was more of a pizza flavor, which I just loved. I can't leave off the Pretzel Bites; I liked that the cheese and mustard were mixed, bringing on a very favorable dip. Now I must tell you this: the pizzas are supposed to be a personal pan--ten inches with six slices. The hostess warned me these pizzas aren't your regular-sized personal pan. He was right. The pizzas are huge, the slices even bigger. It's a deep-dish pizza with layers of meat, cheese, sauces, and veggies. So you can order three like I did, or just order one and keep coming back, trying different pizzas, which is a great idea considering the place is so inviting. One more thing: You can eat inside or outside on the patio or the lawn with the large TV screen. It's a very relaxed place, and they have a band on certain nights. I can tell you for sure that the hostess, the food, and the ambiance make this place what it is, very inviting.
