I was assisting with a DPOA and one so called notary said, "This sounds like a closing." How are you going to tell me what documents I am trying to get notarized? If it is a closing, I would simply say it is a closing. A person looking for a mobile notary wants promptness and convenience and probably is a super busy person who does not waste the time of others and don't appreciate their time being wasted. So, no, I wasn't in the mood for games. The second person was not as bad, but I didn't get a good vibe from them. I was about to give up and call FedEx to see if a particular location would have someone on site and I came across Mr. Odum. When I saw the name it was familiar but I couldn't at first figure out where I knew it from, until I decided to go to the Nextdoor app and scrolled back to 2023.
