Pretty cool and unique sculpture that is in the middle of a concert circle which allows you to take a 360 degree visit Around the sculpture. Medium sized and around some other nature elements so it is easy to miss from the roadside. But if you walk up on the grounds of the library or is pretty easy to spot. Overall, pretty cool sculpture and it's always nice to see public art on display. The Frankfort ave is a very popular place for people to dine, drink and explore and compares to other similar neighborhoods they have less public art to view. So this is a nice piece to discover when exploring that area

If you walk out of Logan street market and look diagonal across the street headers towards the curve in the road you will see this piece. Easy to miss as it's set back in a little cove with a few trees and plants blocking the view. Very colorful piece that's a nice addition to the area. My kids and there friends love the claimable trees in Front of the art and like to pose for photo ops up there. Which kinda makes me try and skip it as a worried parent. But I get it. I half way want to climb the trees myself. Overall nice addition with a different type of setting In a continuously growing and vibrant public art mural scene in the Shelby park neighborhood.

Lincoln mural located just off of the Ohio river and river front park in downtown Lousiville that…read moreis part of a site wide Lousiville art initiative called Alley Gallery in which random exterior doors through tour the downtown area have murals painted on them by local artist. This is very well down rendering of former President Abraham Lincoln. Great use of colors and shares his likeness accurately. Overall it is always great to discover the cool pieces that are part of alley gallery throughout downtown Lousiville.

We saw this while visiting the Christmas season with my family. We saw this mural while walking…read morethrough the area and it immediately caught my eye with its bright colors and folk-art style. The birds, flowers, and amor theme give it a warm, welcoming feel, especially at night with the lights around it. It's a nice visual touch and clearly meant to add some charm to the space. That said, it feels more like a decorative backdrop than a destination on its own, and there isn't much context or information about the artist or meaning. Worth a quick look and maybe a photo if you're nearby

Steering the future of beargrass creek is a downtown Lousiville sculpture located inside the…read morewaterfront botanical gardens. The gardens is a free place to take a stroll through on nice weathered days. Outside of the beautiful plants and bushes they have a few cool sculptures and This is one of them. Beargrass creek is a nearby creek and walking area. So I'm assuming the sculpture represents a steering wheel for that area and is paying homage to that. Kind of a smaller piece that sits upon a stone platform but is located in the dead center of the gardens so it is easy to spot. Overall solid piece of public art that is in a garden with a few unique and cool pieces to discover.

I am not familiar with who or what the mfx crew represents. Maybe they are a group of artist that have worked in the area as Shelby park is a rich public Art mural scene with way too many to count murals within a two to three block radius of this. Overall pretty cool mural and I enjoy the black background with the vibrant bright colors. Really makes this piece stick out.

Parking mural is a parking garage mural located on a new Albany parking garage that is situated at…read morethe tail end of a popular stretch of shops and places to eat and drink on e market st in new Albany Indiana. Me and the wife was headed to dine on e market street when we noticed this mural. Not much to it as it paintings or classic cars which ties it to the parking garage theme. Overall cool addition to the cities public art scene which has a few other pieces in the nearby area including a statue of fork and cheese right at the exit of this very same parking garage.

Me and my friend and fellow yelper Jeremy J was actually on our way for a planned day of trying out some spots in the Shelby park neighborhood and the Nulu neighborhoods and we drove by this one completely on accident. Wasn't on our list of things to check out. So we pulled over and took some photographs. Looks like it consists of kids playing and has the Shelby park name on it. I did not see an artist name or anything but the artists did a nice job. Overall cool and accidental find on our fun filled afternoon. Glad we came across it so we can share with the rest of the yelp community.
