I was advised to take the Wonderlic and HESI tests to apply for the dental hygiene program, then immediately charged $100 once I passed, just for the application. They also insisted I pay $10 to have my transcripts sent through their system. When I mentioned I had most of the required pre-requisite courses because I already have a bachelor's degree, Aileen never told me that credits older than five years wouldn't count. This didn't make sense to me, especially since I hold a college degree. As a result, I would have to pay $80,000 for the entire dental hygiene program--money that I could've saved had I been given the right information upfront. The whole process felt disorganized, and I spent so much time studying for the HESI test unnecessarily. After I realized the program was going to cost so much more than expected, I requested a refund for the $100 application fee. Aileen ignored my calls and emails, but when she wanted my money, she was always quick to respond. I eventually had to track down someone else to get my refund. This school cares more about collecting fees than actually supporting students. I would strongly advise staying away from this place. There are much better, more transparent options out there.

You can actually find parking here, it isn't always conjested with students switching classes and it is alot smaller making it easier to navigate. Plus it has great outdoors areas to have lunch, or study. Plus all of the professors in the JOU program are awesome! Most remind me of rebelious hippies, but they are so knowledgeable in the field with many years experience. So glad I HAD to go to this campus.

It is in the Academic 1 building. I also come occasionally to use the pool or go into the bay for an open water swim. Thats what you do when you are training for a triathlon. Overall its a nice campus but considering Im also a UF Alumni, its hard to compare North campus to a really large University. South campus from what I remember was larger and did have that large campus feeling to it, but still much smaller than UF. Im sure its grown in the past 20 years though. If you want to get edumacated, FIU may be a good option for you.

This school has a very beautiful campus. The residence halls were decent. It also has a really friendly community. The dinning service provider is the same as JWU, Chartwells. However, the dinning service here is in the form of a buffet. The food can be better, but it has its days when food is really good. Almost all the professors are really friendly and willing to help the students out. Overall, the school is nice. There is always room for improvement, which they are willing to listen to feedback. I have been informed from recent students that the room selection process is now different, in the sense of which halls you could pick, than when I was attending. Therefore, I will only describe the conditions of the halls from when I was a student. Underclassmen Halls: *For D&D (Dalton & Dunspaugh), the Dunspaugh side has two people rooms and uses community bathrooms. *The Dalton side has two people rooms with shared-private bathrooms, as in a shared bathroom between two rooms. *Sage Hall has two people rooms with shared-private bathrooms. *Weber Hall consists of two sides, like D&D. One side has private bathrooms while the other has community bathrooms. This hall consists of single rooms with private bathrooms or two to four people rooms with shared-private bathrooms. The benefit of living in Weber is that it is right in front of the pool. Upperclassmen: *Benincasa Hall consists of single rooms with private bathrooms or two people rooms with private bathrooms. *Browne Hall has two people rooms with shared-private bathrooms. *Dominican Hall consists of two people rooms with shared-private bathrooms or suites of four single rooms with private-shared bathrooms. I started the whole process with them January 20 25 paid them in full as I'm a self-pay student. They have not been able to get their act together yet taken $13,999 from me and One week after I sent them wire for that amount they deactivated my NSU email and shark link account and withdrew me from all of my classes for fall 2025. I had applied to six other universities and not pursued those even though they would've been closer to my home because I thought NOVA would be the best as they promoted themselves and told me everything will be fine. Everything will be fine. Well, it's not fine and now at the final hour before I'm supposed to begin they have made my life a complete and utter hell and stress. These people are fraudulent and will take your money and then deactivate all of your account. Do not go here and do not give these people any of your money

Thankfully my mom has known the owner of Brightmed Health Institute for years and recently reconnected with one of them. They have been so helpful in preparing me for the SCARY NCLEX EXAM. I'm able to use their library to study and also go to the NCLEX Reviews they provide. This school really sets a great foundation for their students so they have the right content to pass the state board. If I knew about this school sooner I would've made this my first choice! I definitely recommend this school. They have the LPN, RN programs and more. Do not hesitate if you are interested in nursing.
