Great Expeirence My…read morenewphew started his freshman year at Embry-Riddle and this was my first visit to the campus. Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott has an amazing campus and the staff and students are all very welcoming. There are many attributes that I appreciate about this university. First, the class sizes are smaller which allows for a more personalized experience for students to establish a closer relationship with the faculty. In addition, to great campus life. There is a lot to do in Prescott, exploring downtown, hiking and taking advantage of what nature affords here. So glad Embry-Riddle is his choosen University.

Review of Florian Wege l: CFI,CFII,MEI, ect…read more Florian is by far the best instructor I have ever had at ERAU. He excels in meeting Mazlow's hierarchy of needs to ensure that a student is able and ready to learn in the environment that he is present in and tailors it according to the student. While a man of few words, the words he does say are always there to either encourage a student to push their abilities as a pilot and grow In their abilities or to provide support and feedback in an area where the student is lacking in both ground lessons and in the air. On the topic of feedback, Florian always provides constructive feedback to the "nth" degree. This allows the student (myself) to be able to identify what they are doing right and where they are lacking and how to better improve to a great degree. In his method of teaching he relies on both the CFI PTS and the respective course ACE as well as ERAU's own standards to teach his students the knowledge and maneuvers. What makes him stand out from instructors that I have had in the past is that he makes a connection with aspects of his students life and possible scenarios to both help, give meaning, and to help perfect what could seem like moot or unnecessary maneuver or knowledge.

I am a disabled veteran. Moved to Arizona just to attend their Gunsmithing program. I had way too…read moremuch trouble getting instructors to comply with my approved accommodations. Attempts by Disability Resources director and me fell on deaf ears at least to the Dean of Students level. I filed a Title IX complaint with the Department of Education and agreed to mediation. I continued to have problems and the agreement was violated. I once informed my dean of a current ADA violation. He did absolutely nothing. I never could find out if the college even has an ADA coordinator. If they do, it is a deep, dark secret. I do not recommend this college for anyone with disabilities.

Yet the issue was a simple issue with the teacher violating school policy and federal and state law. But Monika is not handling this at all by law or doing any email by appropriate manner in schools professionalism clauses. This is now Feb, 25 2025.

We've just returned from watching our son graduate from Prescott College and also spending a few…read moredays touring around the area while realizing that he has gained a very thorough understanding of the geology of the region. As a student in Geology myself I was very impressed with the depth of his understanding. With Prescott College in the rear view mirror (unless he decides to go back for graduate work at some point) I can truly say that this was a great little school and perfect for our son who needs to get his hands dirty when he is learning to effectively latch onto the information. The very highly personalized graduation ceremony gave us added insight into the tight knit community that exists around learning and making a difference at Prescott. If you are looking for a unique college education that is experiential and challenging, this is a great place to consider. The small nature of the school also means that the staff in administration and finance will go out of their way to make college affordable and as painless as possible. I had an encounter with a maintenance staff member who was overly confrontational when I was trying…read moreto clarify a situation. It felt disproportionate but I thought it was just me. Later I spoke to a Woman who had a similar issue but actually felt threatened ... same guy ! At this point I figured something should be said. I looked him up , his name is Johnathan. He's a maintenance person hired by Prescott college and he drives the large white truck. As a college, it's important to remember that every member of your staff, not just your professors, represents your institution's values including those in maintenance roles, since each interaction shapes the perception of your brand. Hopefully the college can address this internally before more bad faith is generated because of this guy.
