They were very reasonably priced. Later in the day we found a break that we had caused (long story). We had just listed our house for sale and we're moving out the next day. Dean's fit us in the next morning early before their regular schedule. Our experience with them was awesome again and they were more than reasonable with what they charged for the second service call. Fantastic team! We've decided not to move after all so we'll always work with Dean's!

Second year had to call them several times to obtain service which was good other than needing to repeatedly call them to come out. Third year they simply didn't return calls. I showed up at my summer cabin to find the pump disassembled (so they had been out), and big patches of dead grass. First year was a 5 start. Now not even a 0 star. If they were dropping me as a customer, at a minimum they should have communicated that rather than simply ghosting me.

So brace yourselves for a response to this review that will be designed to blame me and remove themselves from any responsibility. I spent close to $8,000 on a home landscape project that required my husband and I to redo the majority of. They were supposed to remove rocks and replace mulch, under a thin layer of mulch we found a couple more inches of rocks in many places. This is just an all around bad company with unethical customer service. They won't honor a warranty on products and just deny that a product is sick or dying. Eventually they will just stop taking your calls about their bad plantings. We have been asking for a refund on a service berry that has never had more than 20-25 leaves on it. They keep saying it's fine and they say they have come out to put "a wash" on it. Though I worked from home at the time and they never actually showed for several of these "washings". Their approach is to push you out past warranty and stop taking your calls. We asked them to replace the service berry or give a refund and they simply won't. (Even though they promised they would replace it if after the third summer it wasn't blooming). I guess business isn't good if they can't afford to replace a fairly affordable product. Do not use this place. Read all of the reviews. We don't want them back on our property and the only way they can make this better is if I open my mailbox and find a check for the price of the bush. Now it's your turn Amelia, tell the world why this is our fault. Let the lies commence.....

Kokaly installed our sprinklers when our house was built. When another house was built on the…read moreproperty next to us 7 years later, we found out that the north sprinkler line was not actually installed on our property but 5-10 feet north of our property line. Kokaly refused to take responsibility or pay for the relocation of the north sprinkler line. Very disappointing. The sun and shade areas are also on the same zone in some areas which causes too wet a lawn or too dry a lawn. Definitely would NOT recommend unless you want a poorly designed sprinkler system with an Owner that takes no responsibility for his work!!!

So, when I called and they offered to send a repair guy I requsted someone who could better assess the many issues. What I got was an inexperienced repair guy who repeatedly said his manager would need to look at this. With that, I expected a call from his manager. Weeks passed and I figured out how to use just the zones that didn't leak. I finally called the office, explained the problem and asked to talk to a manager. A couple more weeks later, I've already called and have another company scheduled to do an estimate, and the manager from Kokaly calls. He has already given up on doing the job and is calling to hear me complain, which was not my intent. I then asked whether he considered me too difficult a customer to come quote the job. He said he'd stop by... he didn't. At that point 10 years of decent customer service was wasted... not because of the inexperienced guy, but the manager's follow-up and attitude.

The grass never came up despite watering it exactly like Joe told us to. He kept telling me to be patient that it would come in, never did and he refuses to stand behind the warranty he provided us. They came out and winterized (supposedly) our irrigation, but the lines froze and we had a lake in our yard. I've called the office several times, even Joes personal cell phone, and haven't heard a response from him in over 6 months. Joe has a horrible temper and would yell at my wife and I that we didn't know what we were talking about and that he was the "professional." He also gave us a estimate/signed contract to do the work, but when it was all done, the cost increased by $4300.00. He told me that was cost of material and labor inflations since signing the contract. Also, while his crew was working on our home, they were smoking marijuana at various times throughout the day. I would never recommend this company to anyone!!!!
