Marie and her father run the hearing center. Dad keeps up the books and welcomes the hard of hearing by scheduling appointment either by phone or at the front desk. I've had simple repairs done at the Atlantic center. Saves time. And much cheeper then sending to Starky Marie, just got married in July congrats to her and the husband Wishing then the best. Anyway. I've always been able to get right in with an appointment. Marie has made several adjustment to my hearing aids It doe take a while to get them right. It always a pleasure to visit the Atlantic hearing center. As long as I'm living in Florida and they are in business I'll keep coming back to them. Give them a try you might hear what your missing out on.

They took her hearing aid to look it over and found that the wire was damaged. Luckily it was still under warranty so there was no charge to fix it. Since we were there, they went ahead and gave my mother a hearing test. Everything was good and we were told that she doesn't have to go back for another 2 years or unless she's having trouble again. When we walked up, they opened the door for us so we didn't have to touch the door and also opened the door to let us out. Their chairs are spaced out in their lobby and they have a cup full of sanitized pens on the counter that you can use to fill out their forms. There are also tissues and hand sanitizer on their counter. They've thought of everything to keep you safe!

After visiting & speaking with Layne, my hearing aid specialist, about my problem, he called Dr. Heist, shared the history & instructed me to see an ENT specialist immediately! Not in a month, not in a week, ASAP. He impressed upon me that hearing can sometimes be restored within 48-72 hours with prompt aggressive treatment with Prednisone. Only due to his diligence to inform me & emphasis of a narrow time window for treatment, did I seek a medical doctor. Assuming his assessment was accurate, he explained how a prescription for Prednisone was required immediately. I saw a doctor & learned Layne was correct in his diagnosis. I was SO EXTREMELY grateful to him for his knowledge and care for my situation. The doctor asked me to be assessed by his audiologist. The results duplicated Layne's. Additionally, he wanted me to have follow-up care. Because of the knowledge, relationship, comfort and care I received from Layne, I told the doctor I would return to him for the follow-up audiology care. I have the utmost confidence in all of the members of the Hearing Center of Broward. They are a very close knit family like office, whom treats everyone with undivided attention and care. Around my area and wasn't sure if the search results were only for hearing aids but yes this location has a patient, kind, and communicative audiologist to let you know with visuals and examples on what the situation may be in your ear. I had these great before and after images of my left and right ear along with a huge major piece of wax that was well lodged and impacted into the back 1/3 section of my ear deeper into my canal. Thanks again for clearing up my ears, now the only downside is that I can't lie to my wife and tell her I count hear calling me or telling me something as I used to since I can now hear pins drop.

I came here in the worst of pain. Sunday I called knowing that they were closed, I was not…read moreexpecting anyone to reach back out to me until Monday, and for an appointment - probably even later. However, a sweet lady called me back that Sunday ,because of the message I left and the level of pain I was in. She was patient, attentive, and kind. She heard my concerns, and assessed my problem, and gave me the earliest emergency slot appointment available. Monday morning, I showed up in a terrible condition-tons of pain that I never felt in my life. This office was completely understanding. Sometime when your sick, and out in Public the way people act can make you feel worse, especially if they are inconsiderate, however this office was never ever like that! Each person in the office was kind and helpful, from the moment I walked in I was assisted. When I got back, Doctor Lapco was so attentive, and kind. He gave me a fist bump, and made me feel comfortable and welcomed despite my "Self-Pay" status. He was not able to take a culture thanks to the level of swelling of my ear, but thanks to him inserting a cotton for collection of the antibiotic I was able to finally feel the antibiotic effects, thus the healing process could begin. Without that, the swelling would have blocked the medications from really having any effected - like it did all weekend prior. When I left the exam room, the front desk staff was able to assist in setting me up a follow up appointment, and despite my financial situation they really worked with me. I had to come back to get rechecked but being that I already made my way to the Urgent care and was out a few hundred dollars to no avail in fixing this problem, they were understanding and helping me out by not charging me the follow up appointment. This came as a surprise to me when I called still in pain asking for guidance on what to do. Thanks to this doctor, and his staff I was all better in 1 full week. He gave me good advice on my follow up appointment to keep from having to come back, advice I intend to follow. Thank you Dr. Paul Lapco, and staff for all your consideration, speedy assistance, and kindness. I am forever grateful.
