However, they have been under new management for a couple of months. All the previous providers have left the practice. I was never notified that my provider left the practice. In fact, photographs of my former provider and others are still on the webpage, so how was I to know they left? I never received a phone call or a letter in the mail. I found out about this recently when my insurance request requested a prior authorization. I went to their new website, and my provider wasn't listed. So I called to ask about this. The first time I called and the phone rang forever with no one picking up the phone. When I was finally able to get through, a young lady answered the phone. I told her about my situation with the prior authorization and she told me that my provider was no longer there. I was told that I had to come in and see a new provider and when I asked why , I was told have a nice day and then hung up on. I wasn't rude; I just had questions, like who my new provider is and why they need me to come in, since I just had an exam two months earlier. And I don't know why, but they called me back 10 minutes later and said they suddenly had an appointment for me the next morning. So I came in to see what was going on. My new provider was very young and I'm not sure how much experience they had. While they were nice, she informed me of the new policies. For example, they began charging for blood draws in the office that had previously been free. It was $35, and now it's down to $15; otherwise, I have to go to another location to have my blood drawn. They put an order for me to have my blood work drawn, even though I just had it drawn 6 to 8 weeks. I asked for a prior authorization which I was told they would do, but after two weeks, I went to my pharmacy and they said they never received one. The front desk used to be helpful, but recently when I went in, everybody was sitting around in a circle talking to each other, pretty much ignoring that I was there. This used to be a very warm, friendly practice that put the patient's needs first. Now, it seems this new management is very business-oriented, looking for ways to make more money at the expense of providing good customer service and focusing on my healthcare needs. I am now leaving this practice, which makes me sad. I feel very sorry for older people who go there. They probably don't know who their provider is anymore and will have to start over with a new provider from the beginning. It's hard to find a good medical practice for your routine healthcare these days, especially in Boca Raton, where everybody is moving towards concierge service. I wouldn't be surprised if this place goes out of business in the next year.

This is a top-notch first-class medical office. The "feel" is that this is a medical doctor's office dedicated to patients. I am very impressed with Dr. Sharabi, the medical doctor, and owner. I researched the doctor before coming in. He has five star Google reviews and five-star reviews on other social assets that I read. I have nothing against PAs doing medical aesthetic injectables; however, having a doctor perform them gives me a bit more security. After all, this is my face we are talking about. Dr. Sharabi is an expert in facial rejuvenation procedures. For personal privacy, I won't discuss the medical treatment I received. Still, I can fully contest to the experience and results I received from his skills, knowledge, expectations, and follow-up. I highly recommend this place of business. It is not a "Med Spa." I felt like my concerns about anti-aging solutions were heard and initially treated. I felt no pain and no bruising. This was essential to me. I will be a long term patient at this point. Mainly because of the results but also the location it is closeby- serious bonus. No more driving to Miami from Boca for me! I couldn't be happier.

I even received a text and a phone call with a reminder the day before. I arrived on time, filled out a bunch of forms and waited. Then I was unceremoniously told that my insurance is "not on the list of accepted" and that "somebody was supposed to call me yesterday about that", and now I'm out of luck. I couldn't believe such staggering negligence. What about my wasted time? The staff member was apologetic and tried to find a mutually acceptable solution by talking to her boss, but rather than acknowledging the fault of his office and respectfully offering an accommodation, Ayar had refused to see me unless I paid for the visit full price in cash. Then they added a suggestion: "You can come back if you get a different insurance". That's it. I was also assured that since this already happened before, the "guilty party" will "get a talking-to" - and that was supposed to somehow make me feel better. You get the idea exactly how this "doctor" sees his customers - not as people whose time and concerns are just as important as his own, but as mere revenue units. Someone's seeking your services should elicit a sense of gratitude, not contempt. And what if they "forget" to tell me something else, far more important than insurance? This medical practitioner surely inspires lots of confidence... I don't know how much of a "dermatology expert" this character Ayar is, but I would not want to rely on and trust with my health to someone who has no respect for customers/patients, lacks basic decency and only has dollar signs on his mind. More like a greed and no-class expert than anything else.

The most recent occurrence- i called the office 2 weeks ago and said that I would need a refill. I specifically asked if i needed blood work or an appointment or can i just get the refill. I was told that the doctor would call in the refill. He never did. I'm now out of medication and when i called today about this, they want me to pay $250 for him to call in a refill. I would gladly have paid that for an appointment had they told me this 2 weeks ago when i asked. I'm not going to pay for an office visit when I'm not having one. The worst part of this is that they never told me this prior to me calling to see why the delay in getting the prescription. I'm sorry, but the customer service is the worst.
