Around my area and wasn't sure if the search results were only for hearing aids but yes this location has a patient, kind, and communicative audiologist to let you know with visuals and examples on what the situation may be in your ear. I had these great before and after images of my left and right ear along with a huge major piece of wax that was well lodged and impacted into the back 1/3 section of my ear deeper into my canal. Not in a month, not in a week, ASAP. He impressed upon me that hearing can sometimes be restored within 48-72 hours with prompt aggressive treatment with Prednisone. Only due to his diligence to inform me & emphasis of a narrow time window for treatment, did I seek a medical doctor. Assuming his assessment was accurate, he explained how a prescription for Prednisone was required immediately. I saw a doctor & learned Layne was correct in his diagnosis. I was SO EXTREMELY grateful to him for his knowledge and care for my situation. The doctor asked me to be assessed by his audiologist. The results duplicated Layne's. Additionally, he wanted me to have follow-up care. Because of the knowledge, relationship, comfort and care I received from Layne, I told the doctor I would return to him for the follow-up audiology care. Marie and her father run the hearing center. Dad keeps up the books and welcomes the hard of hearing by scheduling appointment either by phone or at the front desk. I've had simple repairs done at the Atlantic center. Saves time. And much cheeper then sending to Starky Marie, just got married in July congrats to her and the husband Wishing then the best. Anyway. I've always been able to get right in with an appointment. Marie has made several adjustment to my hearing aids It doe take a while to get them right. They took her hearing aid to look it over and found that the wire was damaged. Luckily it was still under warranty so there was no charge to fix it. Since we were there, they went ahead and gave my mother a hearing test. Everything was good and we were told that she doesn't have to go back for another 2 years or unless she's having trouble again. When we walked up, they opened the door for us so we didn't have to touch the door and also opened the door to let us out. Their chairs are spaced out in their lobby and they have a cup full of sanitized pens on the counter that you can use to fill out their forms. There are also tissues and hand sanitizer on their counter. They've thought of everything to keep you safe!

I just didn't find a comfort level and felt that the purpose of the visit was for me to choose an option as though we were just going through the motions.
