Around my area and wasn't sure if the search results were only for hearing aids but yes this location has a patient, kind, and communicative audiologist to let you know with visuals and examples on what the situation may be in your ear. I had these great before and after images of my left and right ear along with a huge major piece of wax that was well lodged and impacted into the back 1/3 section of my ear deeper into my canal. After visiting & speaking with Layne, my hearing aid specialist, about my problem, he called Dr. Heist, shared the history & instructed me to see an ENT specialist immediately! Not in a month, not in a week, ASAP. He impressed upon me that hearing can sometimes be restored within 48-72 hours with prompt aggressive treatment with Prednisone. Only due to his diligence to inform me & emphasis of a narrow time window for treatment, did I seek a medical doctor. Assuming his assessment was accurate, he explained how a prescription for Prednisone was required immediately. I saw a doctor & learned Layne was correct in his diagnosis. I was SO EXTREMELY grateful to him for his knowledge and care for my situation. The doctor asked me to be assessed by his audiologist. The results duplicated Layne's. Additionally, he wanted me to have follow-up care. Because of the knowledge, relationship, comfort and care I received from Layne, I told the doctor I would return to him for the follow-up audiology care. I have the utmost confidence in all of the members of the Hearing Center of Broward. They are a very close knit family like office, whom treats everyone with undivided attention and care. I was at their new location yesterday, with my Dad who is a patient of theirs. Yesterday, we met their new audiologist, Glen. He changed the tips (the part that goes into your ears) on my Dad's hearing aids and although this may sound simple, it was actually life altering both for my Dad, who was not wearing his hearing aids often enough, and people like me who have to deal with him. Let me explain. After Glen changed the tips because he said the other ones were too big, my Dad actually started wearing his hearing aids without anyone begging him to put them in. My Father had complained that the tips were bothering him, and therefore refused to wear them at all, complaining they were itching his ears and made his ears hot. Glen solves that problem in minutes and successfully did what I have not been able to do for way too long, get my Dad to wear his hearing aids. And I absolutely cannot thank Glen enough. Bravo!

I've had simple repairs done at the Atlantic center. Saves time. And much cheeper then sending to Starky Marie, just got married in July congrats to her and the husband Wishing then the best. Anyway. I've always been able to get right in with an appointment. Marie has made several adjustment to my hearing aids It doe take a while to get them right. It always a pleasure to visit the Atlantic hearing center. As long as I'm living in Florida and they are in business I'll keep coming back to them. They took her hearing aid to look it over and found that the wire was damaged. Luckily it was still under warranty so there was no charge to fix it. Since we were there, they went ahead and gave my mother a hearing test. Everything was good and we were told that she doesn't have to go back for another 2 years or unless she's having trouble again. When we walked up, they opened the door for us so we didn't have to touch the door and also opened the door to let us out. Their chairs are spaced out in their lobby and they have a cup full of sanitized pens on the counter that you can use to fill out their forms. There are also tissues and hand sanitizer on their counter. They've thought of everything to keep you safe!
