You wonder why young people have problems? Send them to providers like this! There are steps providers take before adding drugs. Again, he's 19 and very healthy and just left his pediatric doctors. This is what can happen in just a few minutes in the office.

Just like last time, everything was ran efficiently and I was in and out in a timely manner. They did a wonderful job of numbing me up with lidocaine ... when I felt even a bit of anything and would make a wincing face, the attending nurse would notice my reaction and the doctor would give me more. I am such a wimp when it comes to physical pain at all, but it has been almost 7 hours since my procedure began, about 6 1/2 hours since the last shot of lidocaine, and I don't feel much at all. I followed their instructions and they gave me an ice pack to immediately put in my bra on the side of my outpatient procedure and I'm home. They will send to pathology to confirm I am ok and they scheduled me for a follow-up next week. I really love it here. I hope I don't have to come back here, of course, due to the main focus of this office ... but if I did, I would feel I was absolutely in the best hands, and these are warm and compassionate ladies working here, and I truly recommend this place if you find yourself in need of care for your "girls" ... you will be treated with dignity and respect and wonderful bedside manner!

They respond to your voicemails within 48 hours unless your a new patient and then it would probably be longer. Discovered Rheumatology Wellness Center in 2017 and will be here for a long time. As you may have read before on reviews of mine that when it comes to Doctors one of the things I insist on in my or my families physicians is Compassion and Knowledge and this practice has that in Spades. Dr. O'Neil is amazing, she was able to effectively diagnose and start appropriate treatment for an issue that has just recently cropped up in a family member. So starting off, the office has a calm, peaceful vibe. Its not just the staff, the colors are muted and pastel, the music in the waiting room is calm, the staff is welcoming and the waiting room has something you almost never see in a doctors office: comfortable furniture. The Nurses and the Doctor herself are top notch also. My family member went in with a migraine brewing to a visit, and the nurses made the room dark as soon as they were done with triage and spoke quietly out of concern. The Doctor offered acupuncture (normally something they charge for) to stop it in its tracks. Now I don't know if I ever believe that stabbing yourself with thin needles is spots is a cure for anything, but within 10 minutes she felt the pressure diminish and within 15 minutes the pain was gone. This is just ancillary service btw, the actual issue that brought my family member in was nailed immediately and a proper course of treatment was started right away and that, I might add, started reversing much of the Symptomology immediately. If you have an issue that requires a Rheumatologist I highly recommend this practice.

However, I was signed up for the mental health program through Integral Health. Nobody ever informed me how the billing would work and that it would be included in my Primary Care statement. After 6 months of seeing my "therapist" I got blindsided with a $500 bill for my 2025 sessions. I was never given a bill for the 2024 sessions or informed that it was covered by my insurance. My "therapist" was late to every session and I don't think I got a full 30 minute session ever. I've been with PCWNY for 15+ years and I'm so disappointed that I was bait and switched by this third party program that did nothing for my mental health other than make it worse.

Everyone was ready to go, only to get a call from the hospital saying my Primary care doctor didn't medically clear me because of my high-heart rate during an EKG. It is NOTATED on my file that I have anxiety at ANY appointment of COURSE my heart rate is high! They also said they didn't have another EKG to compare it to when I had another EKG done at Trinity Medical, so is this staff truly THAT lazy, incompetent and dense that they are unable to make a simple phone call to get those records? Now who knows what I face, let it be known that if this tumor gets any worse, Primary Care will be getting the blame. Truly have shown me how little they actually care about their patients. I was also told I would be getting a call at 11:30AM today (6/5/26) and as of 3:00PM I STILL HAVE NOT HEARD ANYTHING.
