As promised, I had my outpatient procedure today and would like to update! Dr. Tambar and her…read moreattending nurse were wonderful (I regret I don't remember her name)! Just like last time, everything was ran efficiently and I was in and out in a timely manner. They did a wonderful job of numbing me up with lidocaine ... when I felt even a bit of anything and would make a wincing face, the attending nurse would notice my reaction and the doctor would give me more. I am such a wimp when it comes to physical pain at all, but it has been almost 7 hours since my procedure began, about 6 1/2 hours since the last shot of lidocaine, and I don't feel much at all. I followed their instructions and they gave me an ice pack to immediately put in my bra on the side of my outpatient procedure and I'm home. They will send to pathology to confirm I am ok and they scheduled me for a follow-up next week. I really love it here. I hope I don't have to come back here, of course, due to the main focus of this office ... but if I did, I would feel I was absolutely in the best hands, and these are warm and compassionate ladies working here, and I truly recommend this place if you find yourself in need of care for your "girls" ... you will be treated with dignity and respect and wonderful bedside manner!

I went to Paul Young, didn't see him, which is fine, but the NP that I saw didn't do anything my PCP didn't do and immediately suggested a nasal ablation and went on a sales pitch about how Dr. Young does them in the office. Felt like they "sell" that to everyone. She also couldn't see anything concerning- so why suggest this procedure? And for the plugged ears, she suggested I get a hearing test but they don't perform them. What kind of ENT can't do a hearing test in the office? Long story short- useless and total waste of time and money. Just got a $350.00 bill, after insurance for literally nothing.

The new physician, at my very first visit, said: 'I got your records from Dr Young's office, as well as the notes about your anxiety." I don't have anxiety. The awful surgery center that he uses kept me in a room for nearly NINE HOURS waiting to be taken back for surgery; I asked a nurse ONE TIME when I'll be taken back and she ran and told the anesthesiologist's helper that I was 'anxious' and they offered to give me pre-anesthesia to 'calm me down.' No, I was not anxious, I was super thirsty and MAD because I have not had any food or drink since midnight and it was nearly 5pm (so for15 hours). My nose is the same now as it was pre-surgery. I'm still congested, I still have post-nasal drip, and my sleep still sucks because I'm coughing from the throat irritation of the snot dripping down my throat. I've asked them to test me for other things (Covid, etc.) that might suggest why I was still feeling that way; apparently wanting to breathe without choking on snot makes a person 'anxious.' I guess that the PAs / Ear Doctor are also psychologists, and are able to diagnose 'anxiety' without a degree in human psychology. Interesting. No wonder my Primary Doc, at my 'make sure this person is healthy before surgery' checkup looked down at the doctor's name and said: 'Just be careful, some doctors think they're god and will judge you for everything."

I had a sleep study ordered in October and I was told someone would call me which they did in March. And that was after I left multiple messages asking to schedule. A new medication prescribed on March 25th that required prior was not done until a month later and that wasn't due to Anthem BCBS or my pharmacy not advising Dent of this but because the nurse forgot. If I hadn't asked the nurse about another medication for my migraines the auth would never have been done. When I called to schedule my MRI the first available was 5 weeks out. Due to my claustrophobia I always have sedation which has been done by the nurses at Dent. When I scheduled the imaging I was told to arrive 1/2 an hour early for the sedation. Imagine my surprise when I get there to be told the sedation was actually sent to my pharmacy something the woman scheduling nor the nurse at dent told me was being done. The receptionist was unable to reschedule it because "dent doesn't train front desk on scheduling just check in and to call back to reschedule". After all of this I called early this morning and left a message for Kristen one of the managers. Instead of calling me back she had Mary Grace do it because as Mary Grace said Kristen was too busy to talk to me. I understand now I am just a paycheck for the staff at dent. With a high deductible plan I get text messages and a phone call prior to any visit about the cost for "care" and to make sure I have money in hand. I know I'm just a number to Dent but I would have hoped that they see patients as actual people and not just as dollar signs

Check in is always easy, I use the MyChart app and do everything from my phone, so upon arrival I just go up to my doctor's office. The stand out for me is the lab services. It is quick and I have not had a bad blood draw yet. Which I am prone to at other spots. I was not use to getting pricked just once until here, to big shout out to them for hiring competent blood draw folks!! I love all the doctors I see and have seen here at the facilities.

I was informed X-rays did not show any issues and following a Pulmonary Function Test in 2023 Dr. Edelson's advice was to get more exercise. Never suggested any further testing or pulmonary rehab! After continuous searching for causes of my breathing issue my primary doctor suggested making an appointment with a different pulmonologist at Buffalo Medical Group; however, I was refused to see that doctor because I had previously been seen by Edelson. Finally, summer of 2025 I located an excellent Pulmonologist who is "wonderful" - sent me for CT scan revealing I have Pulmonary Fibrosis and referred me for rehab to a great Pulmonary physical therapy group which has been a tremendous help teaching breathing exercises.
