Unfortunately, due to his schedule and my extensive travel schedule I could not have the repair done there. I'm writing this 5 star review because - 1. He gave me a honest appraisal of the work involved, the options and the cause. He also searched for the part and was ready to order as soon as I made a decision. 2. As I found out when I finally go the work done elsewhere - Jim's price for parts and labor was dramatically lower than what I paid at the other shop. For sure, I will contact Jim when I need more work on the car.

Was told he wouldn't work on it and to have it towed away to another shop citing that there were "too many cars in line" "people are always calling and interrupting me while I'm working". When picking up the car I tried to explain that I was only calling because of the timeline they gave me and the owner shouted at me threatened to fight me in the office?! Honestly, it seemed like he was having a nervous breakdown, so yeah, wouldn't recommend. Pretty insane way to treat customers.

I accidentally ended up in the "private driveway/junk yard" behind this business when I was…read morevisiting Sharon on vacation looking for a local restaurant. Google maps led me to the wrong driveway and once I entered the business yard area I had to turn around. There were many junk cars and trucks parked around and it was not easy to turn back. After I finally was able to turn my rental car around I discovered I had been parked in by a truck blocking the only narrow lane between the many cars. I didn't see anyone and neither did my teenage daughter who was with me in the car. I tooted my horn - and I mean tooted, not honked - 3 short toots to see if I could attract someone to help me get out of the lot. I attracted someone all right! Several very hostile men who yelled at me. The worst of them told me I was just going to have to wait since I have come onto private properly uninvited. I told him it was an accident due to google maps and he flat out told me it was not an accident at all. I suddenly realized this guy apparently thought I wanted to steal some rusty old hub caps or something in this junky car yard. He apparently planned to enjoy being the all powerful man and was demanding I just sit there while he unloaded a bunch of tires (and I mean a big bunch of them that were heaped in his truck bed). He only needed to move the truck about 4 feet for me to leave, and the whole vibe was immediately ugly and negative. When I suddenly realized he was being racist, and possibly misogynist too, I told him he wouldn't talk to a white woman the same way he was to me. Then he got out of his truck and walked up to my car threateningly. By then I was so mad I said to go ahead and keep coming and he would see who the police would arrest if he attacked me, and it wouldn't be me. The guy was nuts! I let him make me a bit nuts for a short time - something I regret in a way, but I'm done with being walked over and put down. All the other men around (at least 4) were clearly backing this guy up too. I'd have regretted things getting worse as it could have ended up involving my daughter, who is in her late teens, but I also don't ever want her to just let people treat her like dirt. This guy was a nutter. The man I believe was the business owner finally told him to get back in his truck when it dawned on him the man was really likely to attack me! Up to that point this guy in charge was busy bad mouthing me for having honked my horn and clearly did not accept that we didn't see anybody, even though I told him that, and all of them had come out from some unknown places after I tooted to see what was happening. The tire guy came out from some room and the others were apparently somewhere inside the garage area out of sight. The whole thing was ugly and all of them clearly wanted me to shut up and remained trapped there until they felt good and ready to let me out of the driveway. I strongly recommend anyone with brown skin avoid this place, and frankly I sure hope everyone avoids doing business with them and supporting racists!

Joe and Mainly Benz Service did an absolutely INCREDIBLE job (and at a very reasonable price) diagnosing the problem on short notice (he said "bring it over first thing tomorrow morning and we'll have a look at it!") and replacing the a/c compressor the very next day even though, understandably for such a great Mercedes Benz repair shop, there were no service appointments available for the next several weeks. In short, Joe and Mainly Benz Service came to our rescue and in a very big way (with tremendous honesty and integrity). This is a FIRST CLASS Mercedes Benz repair shop in every way that can easily rival the best Mercedes Benz dealership or service center. We only wish Joe and Mainly Benz Service had another location closer to where we live in FL because we would never go anyplace else after the terrific service we received at Mainly Benz Service!!!

Milt and his gang are great. I had a problem with my truck and I thought it may be a transmission…read moreproblem. I took it to Sharp Transmissions because of the reviews and its a transmission shop. I work on my truck as much as I possibly can but dealing with repairing a transmission is out of my wheel house. I dropped off the truck in the morning and I got a call about 2 hours later. Milt told itme he had inspected the car test drove and it was not the tranny it was the power steering pump that had a small not noticeable leak but the fluid resevoir was almost dry and that was the noise I was hearing coming from the truck. He added power sterring fluid and solved the problem but let me know it something that will need attention down the road. I thanked him I picked up my truck later that evening. Drove the truck home ran like a charm. I will certainly take it to him again when I need work done. I appreciated his honesty he could have told me I needed a new transmission instead I got a honest and fair evaluation and fix. Thanks Milt glad to see that there are still good folk out there. The AAA tow truck operator asked me where I wanted it to be towed, and I immediately said "Sharp Transmission." The dropped it off and put the key in the after hours slot. Next day,I called Milt and said, take a look and give me my options. No rush, I said, since I have other cars I can drive. Milt and his crew found some time to not only diagnose the problem (two rubbng hoses put a hole in one), but to repair the problem. Same day! I picked the car up this morning and it is working perfectly. Like I said before, if you are not taking your car to Sharp, you should start doing so. Great service, excellent communication, attention to detail... Highly recommended.

They ended up changing out the serpentine belt without our permission. Didn't call us to ask if we wanted certain work done to the car. So little to our surprise when we showed up to pick up the car he's showing us a bill that's $900. Mind you, we're local blue collar people. This bill was a serious blow to our household. Anyways, thinking that our car is "fixed" a week later our check engine light comes on and the car is making an awful squealing sound. Very poor. They were totally disorganized and didnt do what they were supposed to do. Then they…read morecharged $880 for an oil change + replacing six spark plugs. They charged 1 hour labor to change air and cabin filter (which jiffy lube changes in 3 minutes - literally). They charged a $70 waste-disposal fee so that $119 oil change apparently was $199. They charged for an hour of labor for a "200k checkup" which when pressed entailed "checking brakes and fluid levels". Another scam because the fluid levels were supposed to be part of the oil change - again, Jiffy Lube includes it. Total sham place that sells itself as a 'down home good ole earnest mechanics shop', but in the end it was exactly the sort of place to avoid. Watch out.
