Friendly, accommodating : fit us in this weeks schedule. We took our sprinter chassis motorhome to them for an overdue diesel oil change. They were efficient, we walked to dunkin donuts and when we came back the oil change was already done! Reasonably priced too! I have only brought my car here once and I'm bringing it back anytime I need anything done! I had a place tell me that my transmission was going bad so I dropped it off at youngs and the (very nice) guy said he would check it out because the problem is probably the tires. It was, the tread on my tires were so bad it was making my entire car shake. So they saved me about 4-5 thousand dollars (for a transmission) and I still would have had the same issue. When all I needed was a couple hundred dollars of tires. Picked up my car and it drove smooth as silk. I'm taking both my cars there for oil changes and inspections in the next couple days. A trust worthy mechanic is extremely hard to find (I was beginning to think they didnt exist anymore actually). I found mine! Thanks again youngs! read more

These guys are the absolute best! I was traveling last week on 84 West hit some debris on the highway which punctured my transmission cooler. These guys were there with their flatbed in 30 minutes. They towed my car to their shop, and immediately put it up on the lift. Found, and fixed the problem, and had me back on the road in 2 hours! This is a family business....friendly, honest, do great work, and extremely reasonable pricing. I've been going to Youngs loyally for 3+ years. I never had an issue with them previously and was generally happy with the service. This past time I had my struts and rear window defrost fixed, but when I picked up my vehicle my check engine light turned on and my fuel gauge wasn't working. Since I've been going to Youngs for a while I simply went back inside to tell them what was happening, hoping it could be looked at and resolved. The guys in the office suddenly got very rude and defensive and said that it was "a coincidence" and they had nothing to do with it. I simply stated that it worked fine before and they replied "there's nothing we can do about it, call Kevin tomorrow" and I was sent on my way. So I did call Kevin and simply stated what was going on, again he met me with defense and insisted it couldn't have been their fault but told me to bring it by again. I was so uncomfortable with how they were speaking to me that I brought my dad, and the man in the office was EXTREMELY rude when we got there. And Kevin again was not friendly and insisted that it couldn't be their fault but he would look. I was very taken back because he was normally friendly when I interacted with him in the past. It turns out, they had accidentally broken a wire while working on my car the day before and didn't realize. Their demeanor completely changed when they realized it was their fault after all. They did fix it for me, but the experience and the way I was spoken to and treated to the extent that my father had to come with me after I'd been a loyal customer for over three years just put an extremely bad taste in my mouth. My car broke down. Youngs service station towed me to there location in pine bush upon the suggestion of my insurance company. My interaction with them i felt was very polite and he (Kevin) was very helpful at the moment. They installed a new rear end on my 2003 ford e150 that i purchased from a junkyard. We shook hands, i said thank you he said your welcome if you need anything else let us know. Originally i let them do the work because my insurance wouldnt cover for the van to be towed back to my location which was over 30 miles. So two weeks later, driving the vehicle i noticed a leak of oil right on the rear end differential and axel that they installed purchased by me. I gave them a call and spoke to the owner and explained to them that my mechanic has suggested that they should have changed the seals in the axel which is something that they do to refurbished rear ends considering that seals go bad on old sitting parts. They said that, thats bullshit and they would fix it for an additional price. To my suprise not only did he tell me it would cost several hundred dollars but didnt do anything to remedy the situation and told me that maybe i should have my other mechanic fix it. Not sure why he wouldnt just do this to back up his work. If i were a mechanic i would have made sure that part was thoroughly inspected to insure that my work stood the test of time and lasted. I will never go to them again. Everything was all fine up until i asked them to look at the work that was done by them and maybe make the correction that was needed so that this particular part operated accordingly. In mine line of business if i paint over a surface that is rotted and falling apart i am inadequately doing my job to the fullest. read more

I am a life long resident of Pine Bush. I have heard before to not bring any vehicle to Young's Service Station but because they are only a couple minutes from my house, I went against my better judgment and brought my car there. I had them change my brakes and rotors with my first visit. A couple days later I brought it back to get a senor fixed and inspected. The original code that came up for my car was an EVAP sensor. They charged me $400, told me everything was fine and sent me on my way. As soon as I turned my car on, the check engine light came back on. I drove it 100 miles just to see if it would turn off, it did not. We then brought my car back only to find out that they never even touched the EVAP sensor which was the whole reason for us bringing it there. They claimed that they fixed a different sensor. So again I left my car there.. Went back the next day to pick it up, they charged me another $170 and they claimed to have fixed the EVAP sensor this time. Well what do you know, 20 miles down the road my check engine light is back on. Not to mention that when they bolted my back seat back in they never reattached and pulled the seatbelt out for underneath. Now on top of everything else, I now have to unbolt and take out my backseat to find the missing seatbelt that they lost under the seat. I will NEVER use this shop again.
