Patricia, who claims to be a manager, acted like I was lying, offered zero apology, and just told me to wait another two weeks for a new appointment and that I'll be added to a waiting list for a sooner appointment if that happens to happen. She didn't try to help, didn't apologize, and wouldn't even give me a management email to file a complaint or send any written confirmation for my records. In the following year, I had symptoms of heart problems that led me to Vital Heart. I took a printout of my AZ test results with me, for them to review as part of my initial visit with them. Dr Marcy Lim was the Doctor that saw me. She was shocked when she reviewed the results, and immediately scheduled an evaluation for heart stints, with Dr David. I had over 90% blockage in at least one of the veins on my heart. Dr. David immediately preformed a procedure to place stints in the effected areas. I scheduled an appointment seeking compassionate guidance for a VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean). To my surprise--and dismay--Dr. Michael D. Kelly and his nurse practitioner denied me service without even reviewing my medical history. My last C-section was six years ago, yet instead of taking the time to listen, Dr. Kelly dismissed my request outright. As a patient, I expect at least a thoughtful conversation. Instead, I felt rushed, unheard, and judged--like I was being penalized for asserting what I believe to be a reasonable birth plan. The nurse practitioner's bedside manner only deepened my frustration; their off-putting demeanor made an already stressful moment feel untenable. At the very least, I hoped for professionalism and empathy. What I encountered felt the opposite. Seeking a respectful discussion about VBAC shouldn't result in denial of care--but here, it did. Disappointing indeed.

I guess to her it was not important that I was receiving the WORST care from her PA. And she was aware. I called to speak to her and was denied that. I honestly didn't know what I didn't know. I was rushed from the very first appointment. I was explained NOTHING. And don't get me started on the medical assistant. I had to call and ask for my lab work results many times, with no call back, because that app they have is useless and they act like your results are confidential even to you. My visits lasted around 3 minutes, not counting the 40 minute wait in their lobby. The PA never bothered to explain what I had seen in the ultrasound. I had to scare myself by googling everything. Sadly, I had a blighted ovum... It was not easy to understand what was going on and it was even more horrible to not have a competent doctor. I started bleeding on a Friday and contacted their "emergency" line and AGAIN I was treated like I was just another patient. I was honestly better off not calling since all I got was "well go to the E.R... mmmmmm... yes, go to the E.R." This was the first time. The second time when I was hemorrhaging and passing clots, HUGE clots. The "nurse" they had that talked to me brushed me off, there was no talk about rate of pain or how much I was bleeding. Nothing. HORRIBLE. To make things worse I called them Monday morning, because I miscarried that Friday night, to speak to my doctor and their response was "Well you can leave a voicemail and maybe they'll get back to you." Surprisingly, that afternoon I got a call back to come in. And I did because no other doctor would see me as a new patient that day. I went through 40 minutes of waiting in the lobby and another 3 minute talk with Jessica. I payed $40 copay for her to tell me that they'll be checking my hormone levels, never told me how or how frequently by the way, and never bothered to perform and ultrasound or check me. NOTHING. To this day, WEEKS after my miscarriage I have not received ONE phone call or email about my health. I would honestly be dead if I had stayed with them that's how bad of a care I received. I am a nursing student and the care they provided me with they BOTH shouldn't even have any patients.

I found Angel Care Family Clinic on Google and saw all the great reviews they had. I decided to give them a try, I was a walk-in patient but they were still able to treat me fairly quickly. I was able to get diagnosed and get prescribed antibiotics in a reasonable amount of time. I initially had my prescription sent to CVS, but it turns out they weren't in my insurance's network, so I called the clinic back and they happily forwarded my prescription to Walmart, so I was able to pick it up. I remember prior to leaving the clinic I got really light headed and they gave me some ammonia to sniff it really helped! They even let me take a few for the road. I paid a $40 co-payment. I highly, highly recommend this place. Their kindness and dedication to their patients is something that is greatly admirable!
