Went to take my grandson who was visibly ill with red eyes with green mucous that was continually draining, he woke up with his eyes completely shut with this green mucous. Runny nose with green mucous. He had fever. We were told he had a cold and ears were clear and no reason to test for Covid to traumatize him. Nothing was prescribed, just to continue motrin and Tylenol, normal saline for nasal drainage and we were sent on our way. Next day baby woke up worst!! So we took him to urgent care and he had double ear infection, conjunctivitis in both eyes, throat visibly red with drainage. Was prescribed antibiotics for symptoms and eye drops. And was tested for flu and covid just in case. Because what he had was highly contagious. 5 out of 6 family members got sick including a newborn. Needless to say do not see Dr. Rodriguez, as bad as the baby looked, I'm glad he didn't need to be hospitalized. read more

I made an appointment 3 months ago to get my child seen by the pediatrician. Apparently a decision was made in the interim to stop taking insurance for new patients. The problem is-- I am not notified until the day before the appointment. My child still doesn't have a pediatrician and I have to start from scratch to wait to be seen by a new provider. I'm frustrated-- you should do better. If you are going to kick people out, don't accept the appointment and cancel 3 months later or make an exception. Ridiculous-- read more

Loved this office when we first started going after my daughter's birth four years ago. Since covid, it has been absolutely impossible to get in to for sick appts, and I've had to take both my kids to urgent care centers and pays tons of money, because pediatric associates "can't get anyone in for a few weeks". Today, I called because I think my son has croup, to ask what else I can do to make him more comfortable, (I have a wellness appt scheduled for his this Friday), and they cancelled his wellness appt stating he can't be seen sick, unless it's a "sick child appt", but they don't have any of these sick child appts available any time soon. I've had enough. Heed my warning and save your time and money and go somewhere else! Dr. Trimble is a fabulous and we will miss his as our pediatrician, but the way this office works ruins it for everyone! read more

dr Tracy llama bride I is amazing, actually all of their drs are. they all try their best and are very good at their jobs, I love how quick they call back and follow up. I've been here now almost 5 years and won't be changing, I came from another place that didn't give us the time of day. this place is always polite and the people at the front desk are always very friendly and helpful with any and all questions. Dr. Stafford saved my sons life. he started having complications from surgery he had and was losing blood. After being ignored by the surgeon, we sought her professional opinion and she immediately took notice to his fatigue, pale appearance and fussiness. After taking my concerns into consideration she immediately checked his hemoglobin, which was considerably low. She then sent us to get more labs at he hospital following her lab results. After a blood transfusion, emergency surgery, and a 3 day ICU stay, she ultimately saved my sons life. Her, as well as nurse Krystal (hope im spelling that correctly) have ALWAYS been my children's number 1 advocate and after an amazing 3 year experience we are so pleased to say thank you and we absolutely LOVE this facility. Doctors, nurses, and all front staff are overly considerate and have always put my children health first no matter the circumstance. Dr. Stafford even called and checked on my son AND myself while in the icu and was in constant contact with the hospital. We will forever be a patient and huge fan of her and her team. Finding an informative pediatrician was an obstacle for me .. my daughter has been going to Dr. Trimble for almost 5 years now and my son is, as well... I have had some ridiculous experiences at pediatric urgent cares and emergency rooms.. Dr. Trimble is so knowledgeable and truly caring!!! read more

Always incredibly hard to schedule an appt even days in advance. Over the years it continues to get worse! When your child is sick you look for an appt that day or the next day. All 3 locations in SA/Schertz and there isn't an appt? Ridiculous! You're literally left with hoping you don't have to take your child to urgent care/ER or letting their illness ride out. Brand new to the area. My 11yr old son fractured his knee, got assigned to Dr. Dawn when I called they could not see my son Per Their Contract which they ONLY accept NEW BORNS. Nor could they recommend another doctor. Out of control! I'm not running around with a child and a broken knee. Sorry but not the best place. If you have a NEW BORN avoid this place. read more

I actually got online to look at other info for this Pediactric office (it is Sunday and I needed the hours of their weekend location) and can't believe all of the negative things I have read. I will say this: We have been taking our baby to Northeast Pediatric Associates since our baby was born and they are AMAZING! Dr. Stafford is our primary doctor but we also have dealt with Dr. Dabbs on multiple occasions and they are both Rock Stars! Our son is now 26 months old and I wouldn't take him anywhere else. They have 3 locations in San Antonio and one of them is even open on Saturdays and Sundays. DON'T BELIEVE ALL OF THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS!!! read more

Our experience was great....the opposite of some others Ive read. No wait at all. I am in the Medical field myself , so I observe other establishments carefully. We were looking. My 12 y/o daughter had an appt. @ 1045 r/t her knee pain from running cross country @ Corbett. This was a new Doc for us. We used to drive to Stone Oak area to see Dr. Carlos Quiroz at Little Texans Pediatrics since her birth. My wife didn't like ABCD Pediatrics....too many obstacles(Her words). This place was clean ....they have the usual sick side and well side seating. Paperwork to fill out (2 sheets).... blah blah blah Lol !! The staff were wonderful...to include both secretaries upfront, the nurse that checked her cholesterol and Dr Stafford. She was clear, informative, and thorough. Her questions were directed to my daughtersWe got a great referral to an Sports Medicine Clinic. Will follow up after our return from there. read more

They charge fees for EVERYTHING! I understand missed appointment fees but they would even charge if I cancelled and rescheduled days in advance! They did this at least 3 times and when I called to get it corrected they said they couldn't because they corrected it once before. those along with other fees (one time they charged me for paying a late co pay, when they didn't collect at check out and I didn't think it should be my job to know when and when not to pay a copay b/c some appts require a copay and some don't) I thought were not necessary is why I switched to a new pediatrician for both of my babies! read more

I could never get an appointment with my actual doctor when my child was sick. It was always the nurse practitioner and when my child had a month long bout of strep she was at a loss if the amoxicillin wasn't working or if she was getting reinfected. She even sat there trouble shooting with another NP in front of me trying to decide how to treat my child. We had to switch doctors to get my baby help. read more

My son is seeing Dr. Trimble since he was born. My son had severe rash so i messaged Katrina that the prescription that Dr.Trimble gave was not working for him. So she told me to call and scheduled an appointment so that he can bee seen. The receptionist told me that Dr.Trimble wasn't around that week and if i want, my son can still be seen that week but with a different provider. But i chose to wait to see Dr.Trimble so i scheduled it the next week. I drove 45mins with a sick baby only to find out that there was no appointment schedule for my son. So whoever the person i talked to,did not put my son in their schedule. The receptionist told me that they can still take my son but we have to wait for hours for my son to be seen. As to how many hours,she had no clue. I was frustrated because this is the second time it happened to us. Patients face consequences if they are late, and have to pay fee for no show/no cancellation. But guess what who face the consequences of their mistakes? THE PATIENTS AS WELL. This is not fair at all and no parents should be experiencing this esp if you are already worried sick about your son's health. Will be transferring my son to a difderent provider. read more

I'm going to be honest, I was hesitant to come here because of all the negative reviews. But let me tell you what I experienced was nothing like the reviews lead me to believe. The office staff was very pleasant, we showed up a little earlier but were taken back into a room probably ten mins after arriving. Then we saw our doctor (Dr. Anu Thomas) shortly after the nurse left. Dr. Thomas was very kind and understanding of certain concerns we had. She was very gentle with our little boy and he even was giggling/cooing for her. We were recommended to come here by our neighbor because of their vaccine policy and let me just say the reviews on here should be taken with a grain of salt. Especially since everyone is quick to write a negative review but never takes the time to leave a positive. Definitely a 5 star experience! read more

I have never had a Dr give me (or my son) such one on one attention. Dr.Stafford answered every one of my many questions in detail which as a new mom means so much to me. When I was interviewing/consulting pediatricians before my son was born I went to Northeast Pediatric Associates for a quick tour and consult. We had an appointment scheduled at 4PM at Northeast Pediatric Associates, we were 15mins early, its now 4:40PM and we are still waiting. We were placed in the patient room and we waited 15mins more. They could have given us an update on the delay. This happens everytime we have an appointment here, it's like they over book the doctors just so they can make money. I bet if we were 40mins late they would make us reschedule. The doctor was really nice and professional, my issue is with scheduling and delays. read more

We go to the Schertz location because it's close to our house and we can always get an appointment right away that fits our busy schedule. Even if it's a sick visit, they have seen us the same day. We have been in and out within 30 minutes at times and we love the doctors and nurses. Dr stafford and her nurse crystal are amazing. April is another good nurse and they love our boys. My problem is with the girls up front. They are always so rude. From the minute they answer the phone and put you on hold to the minute the hang up. They answer the phone like they are bothered by the phone calls. And don't even try to make an appointment for your sick child while they are trying to make lunch plans. I have actually seen them put a parent on hold while 2 of them sat there ordering food. The phone was just ringing and ringing. Hopefully they change the staff upfront because they just make the whole scheduling and checking in process unbearable! read more

Very rude front desk when trying to schedule an appointment on the phone. I keep my grand daughter daily and usually see the first signs of a sickness. Mom was busy at work and Dad on late shift, so I was asked to call to make an appt for them to take her. I am an approved point of contact on her records. Worst pediatrician EVER, receptionist are ALWAYS rude! I changed my daughters whole pediatrician because of how terrible this place is! They definitely discriminate against young mothers and disregard anything they say, and are always rude and treat them like they're stupid. I never get acknowledged anytime i walk in ( as a young mother ) then when someone else walks in (a older parent) they get acknowledged and helped immediately. One time i needed a prescription for my daughters formula and needed it, i was told it was ready so i drive to pick it up to be told they dont have it, then all the sudden they "find" it. I then leave get in my car and look at the paperwork that is completely wrong, I immediately go back inside and tell them it was wrong and was told "yeah I figured it wasn't the right one, its old" so they just were sending me with wrong paperwork hoping i wouldn't notice, and today i showed up for a check up for my 9 month old and was 1 minute maybe 2 past the graze period due to traffic, that's completely out of my control but wasn't acknowledged till id been sitting for about 5 minutes more that i had to completely reschedule because the time she was then looking at was way past the graze period, mind you the whole office was empty except for me and 1 other person but tge, anyways they are always extremely rude and unsympathetic, and i always get given a hard time, and i will never go back read more

I have two kiddos and had to switch our PCP and I chose Northeast Pediatric Schertz Location. My daughter gets referrals done every other week and has 12 different specialist. I had to move PCP because my last one it was a FIGHT to get a referral done. My daughter was seen here and I needed a referral done for my daughter to be seen at MD Anderson Cancer Center, one week later MD Anderson calls me to tell me the referral was perfect and my daughter was approved. I didn't have to fight with Northeast Pediatrics or did I have to do anything at all, they did it all for me! Thank god for Northeast Pediatric and their referral department. Dr. Thomas takes time with me and my children, I was extremely iffy to have my daughter be seen by her because she has 0 patients with the condition my daughter has, but after meeting her she took the time to get to know my daughter and took her medical concerns very seriously, I am VERY happy with my decision and switched to them. Monica who sits up front is EXTREMELY helpful with appointments and paper work, and my kids know her by name because she loves to interact with the kids to not just the parents.
