Mike is a very nice person. He is also a thorough inspector. However I was unhappy with the transparency around his pricing. The inspection cost more than I was quoted, more than the website advertises, and even more than the invoice I was sent after I paid the higher price with no explanation from Mike. I had to ask several times before I got an answer about the higher price. For this reason I can't give 5 stars and would be wary about using his services unless he becomes more upfront about his pricing. read more

The inspector refused to wear a mask during inspection of my home. This was done without my knowledge or consent- I only found out from my home security camera. He also allowed the potential buyer, spouse, and child, to accompany him, also unmasked. Home inspection took well over an hour. My house was very clean prior to inspection, yet I came home to filthy hand prints all over the walls, things moved that should not have been touched during a home inspection. Inspector never apologized when confronted, but was rude and stated he couldn't possibly inspect a house with a mask on as it "was the same as a workout". We recently had our home inspected by Mike and had a great experience! Not only was he very knowledgeable, but he was friendly and personable as well. He explained everything in a way that was easy to understand for someone who doesn't know much about houses, as we are first time homebuyers. Not only that, but he gave a lot of helpful recommendations about how we could fix things, people/businesses that might be a good place to get work done, etc; He got back to us very quickly with our report, and he did a thorough job. Great experience, would definitely recommend having Mike do your inspection, was well worth the $350 that we paid! read more
