He didn't have a part but was able to fix the oil leak regardless. He was extremely professional and even drove us to our hotel in his car. With being on a limited income, they are also good at helping me prioritize the fixes that come up in my old dinosaur of a van, so I don't have to empty my account in one shot. All in all I am happy to continue using their service; it helps support my local community members, and I get to drive a vehicle that I trust is taken care/fixed up in the same manner as if it were their own family vehicle!

So if anything actually had been wrong with the brakes, I would have been able to get new ones free. When I took it there, they told me they went ahead and replaced the breaks, because "they needed to be done" - without asking me, before doing the work (I would have said, that's a joke, because they were literally just put on the car within the same month). Anyway, I was going through some really traumatic stuff in my personal life at the time and didn't have the energy to argue or stick up for myself, even though I KNEW they were screwing me over, so I just paid, but it still makes me mad to this day, and I try to tell everyone so that no one else takes their car to this place.
