Haven't received the tub yet but customer service is terrible. I've been emailing them for weeks about a delivery issue and no one has bothered to respond. The delivery is just drop shipping so you will still be responsible for moving the incredibly heavy tub to your desired location after they drop it off. My advice spend the extra money and use a local company that will actually deliver it on time and leave it in the location you want. read more

I am convinced this business is a scam. BUYER be WARNED! it's been a YEAR since I gave Northern Lights almost 10k for a 2 person pre-assembled tub & I am yet to use it. it will take several mnths b4 you receive a heavy pile of broken or irrelevant pieces that make a near imp. feat of steps to put together - actually impossible. Yet I have been DETERMINED all these months to make this work....I will pray one day I'll be able to use this tub but you should save yourself from the shock, tears & heartache & read & belive the negative reviews. I ordered some hot tub chemicals from this company. The price online was fine and I agreed to pay with my credit card. When I got my bill, it was an extra $50 because they charged me in US Dollars! No where on the bill or the receipt does it say US Dollars. I would not recommend this company for any purchases. It's 2016 - how hard is it to create a web site that clearly states if items are in US or Canadian funds? Shop somewhere else. read more

Where do i begin. Two years later I write this with a tub thats never been used. I have gone through every avenue with the owner Dan to return the tub and although he fooled me into agreeing, he failed to respond once I found a way. He told me he'd look for another buyer in los angeles and try finding a way for me to ship it but instead he left it all on me and then disappeared once i found a way. I was lied to at the beginning told it would cost 30% of the actual cost to set up. This is one of the most complex systems i'v ever encountered and none of this was mentioned upon purchase from the deceiving salesman. I sat patiently waiting for Dan to come through on returning the tub but after this long with no answer, my only choice is to warn everyone else from making my same mistake. Now i sit here with an empty unused tub that even if I wanted to set up would cost 1/3 of the purchase price. DO NOT BUY read more

The quality of the hot tub is most excellent, and it does fit as perfectly into our prepared space as we could have hoped. Great company with excellent product and customer service. This is our second major purchase from Northern Lights. Previously we bought a hot tub in 2008 and now we have bought one of there barrel saunas. The craftsmanship is second to none. I looked at Costco saunas and not even close. I ordered a solar system for my pool from this company online. I paid in full. The system took 10 weeks to arrive, and once it did- the solar vacuum tubes were broken, and the had sent me the wrong heat exchanger. Six months later, I still havent recieved any replacements for the solar tubes, and I was agrued with extensively over whether or not they had sent me the wrong heat exchanger. I had to send them a photo to prove they were wrong. The customer service is unpleasant and unresponsive. They don't return emails or phone calls. I would highly recommend you go with a different solar company. read more

Stay away! The costumer service is indescribably awful! They really know how to treat people with disrespect. This all started once they had my money, so don't be fooled if things start out okay. Unbelievably poor and verging on harassing in their communications. I really wish I had never found them: their product is supposed to be a positive and soothing experience, but the experience of purchasing is hellish, stressful, and expensive. I doubt the product could ever be good enough to counteract the suffering of getting it. read more
