It annoyed me so much I decided I'd rather support a smaller, more family oriented banking institution. What I love about this credit union: -personalized service- people already know my name! -very old school- call in and they'll mail you a check -only $5.00 to open an account -my immediate family members can join -low as heck interest rates on car and personal loans -exempt from paying car loan in summer months because I'm in education What's not so convenient: -not as many ATM's available -outdated interent and bill pay services -when checking account online, transactions don't always post immediately I'm going to stick with them for a while and see if I can grow some patience while working on not being just another person who needs everything done for me at lightning speeds.

I guess they don't want to put in the effort to verify checks, unfortunately this takes too much time for them so then they refuse service to you and ask you to leave with no reasoning or explanation. Being that it's a weekend and I needed some cash in hand and did not have time to put checks into my bank account due to how long it may take to clear. Meanwhile you walked in with valid identification with valid checks in your own name. People say the owners may be nice, well F*** em! Very dirty entrance, small and cramped, acting like they own the block. Yes I'm bashing your business, idgaf that your local. Cry about it!
