This place needs a shake up!! Bad attitudes and extremely poor customer service. Great little store but staff needs a tune-up!

I've never thought that I'd see the day where I thought "I'm going to one-star this place on yelp" until I met Marilyn, the old, grumpy, grey haired cashier. She treated my friend and I like criminals, accused us of having fake ID's, and looked like an absolute IDIOT when she swiped my driver's license and saw it was real (I have an account with them and have been going there for almost two years, the other staff are awesome.). This woman is a problem every time I come into the store, and she makes me want to avoid coming here. I hope she gets better training since this business claims that they have "excellent" customer service skills. read more

I don't know what those other reviews are talking about but I have always received great service. People are always going to complain more than praise. That's just the nature of humans. But believe me, the people and service is too notch. And if you are are a bloke like myself, there are a few easy on the eyes employees too. read more

This place is an absolute joke! Do not waste your time going there unless you want to be harassed and yelled at by the miserable blonde with glasses! I witnessed her yelling at a man and his teenage son because the son picked up the purchased cup (not even alcohol) before leaving the store. When it was my turn to pay, she asked me for two pieces of Id. I gave her my social insurance card and my license. She then rudely demanded that I need a piece with a signature on it. I gave her at least 5 different pieces including my care card, visa and debit card and even got her to scan my license to prove it was real and she still insisted on harassing me and told me to go else where so I did. I could not believe how horrible this so called employee was treating each customer that came in. Find some new employees if you want to succeed. Even the workers at the gas station across the street said the Northgate liquor store employees are extremely rude! read more
