My mother-in-law replaced her old internet service with Vyve Broadband at the recommendation of a friend, who is also a Vyve customer in Statesboro. The results were dramatic. Vyve proved to be a game-changer in my MIL's house, as you can see from the speed test I performed (see screenshot attached to this review). With Vyve's equipment, an Arris Wi-Fi router, in a different room, I got 220 Mbps down and 35 Mbps up. Great speeds compared to before. The connection seems pretty reliable too. read more

I paid and scheduled my hook-up for the 28th and paid sometime before that and I understand the storm but it is now the 10th and when I simply call for an update I'm still left with no answers or hope that I will ever have service. Worst customer service in the nation! I thought Comcast was bad, this is much worse! No level of integrity for making my payment on time! No same day service... who does this? 45 minutes on the line and still no answer. They are always busy because their equipment is shoddy ! No FAQ sheet of things to try except one simple thing that most always know... reboot your own router and then the call hangs up so you can't even stay in queue. They are horrible! read more

Service was interrupted 26 Sept when Helene came through, my wife got ahold of someone around 4 Oct and was told that we should expect service to be restored by 12 Oct. Here we are on 12 Oct at almost 4pm and I have yet to see a service truck in my neighborhood. When I try to call the company, I recieved an automated message explaining that there is a service impairment in my area and asks if I want an automated text message when service is restored (press 1) or if I want to pay my bill (press 2). The automated message then tells me that if i do not want either of these options that my call will be disconnected. No options to speak with a representative, no estimated time when service may be restored, nothing of any help. If there was another option in my area I would drop them in a heartbeat! read more

They really know how to take care of a customer! NOT!! I have been a customer for over a year now; Not by choice. Their already over priced service just increased. My $75 bill went to $87 after 1 year of service. "The promotion expires after 1 year sir". What a Great way to reward customer for being loyal and not missing any payments, Squeeze more money out of the customer for the same amount of service so Northland Executives can have more money. I rely on internet for working from home, and my son has school from home. This has been the crappiest service from the start 5 years ago. Curently, we only get 1 bar on our cell phone wifi and 0.36 to 5GB upload speed (speedtest.net) even though we pay for their full-speed package. This is not acceptible. read more

Thwre is no local phone number to speak to someone and the phone number that is given will direct you to automated systems where you will get disconnected either right before or right after someone answers your call. No one will call you back. I have been charged 2x my regular bill and can't seem to figure out why, and neither can they. Very u helpful and unprofessional. read more

Worst customer service ever. Every time I call because the wifi NEVER works... a girl named Emily answers the phone and never fixes the issues. She then tells me she'll send my case to higher support to assist me, gives me a case number and they never call me back. I must have 10 "case numbers" at this point it's ridiculous. I downloaded yelp (which took way too long to download btw, thanks northland) just to review this company. Me and 3 of my roommates pay for the gigabit internet, and we'll be lucky to even get 20. Right now I'm downloading something at 500 Kbps. How does this happen? Not to mention the I internet just goes out randomly, which is a common complaint on here, yet when you call and tell them the internet is going out they say they have no record of the internet losing service. They came by my house to fix the terrible internet, moved the router into a different room, and now it is 100x worse than originally. Thanks northland. read more

I love Northland Cable! They are so nice and go above an beyond for their customers. When I first signed up, they offered savings to me without me even having to ask for it. When they came out to hook up the internet, the tech guy checked all the wires inside and outside the house and replaced old worn wires for free. Anytime I have ever had an issue after hours, they answer immediately. No long waits, no run arounds and everyone is always so pleasant. Excellent company! I'm so glad to live in an area that has their service!!! read more
