We asked the sales gal several questions and she didn't know the answers to a lot of questions. We asked to see things in person and get in person visuals of what we had in mind and instead of helping us she kept having us look on their computer screen. When I shop for a product at a specialty store like bathrooms, lighting, floors, etc I like to see the actual product and she wouldn't even give us suggestions to comparable products that were in the store. Then we asked if they could come out to our home 3 miles north of Quincy and she said she wasn't sure and apparently none of the other sales gals there knew so she took our phone number and promised to call us 2 days later on Monday to let us know. She never called us. Very poor customer service all the way around. The store itself is so disorganized that the gal didn't know what was there so I guess thats why she kept telling me to look at the computer screen. The disorganization looked like everything was just thrown around. There was no good flow through the store and it caused me a lot of anxiety just being in the store. We were about to drop thousands of dollars there since we are doing a whole house lighting reno and upgrading. I would not recommend this store to anyone and I would put my review on Google but businesses can tamper with those reviews. The whole experience inspired us to look at Home Depot and we found exactly what Tally Lighting had in stores and online that we liked for a fraction of the cost and now we will be able to spend our left over money we budgeted on another project so that I thank Tally Lighting for.

They looked upped all the paint colors that I needed and made me what I needed. They have everything that you need for your paint project even the parts that you don't want. I really dislike painting but I will do it to make sure that the project moves forward. I'm here to the end and then we will move onward to the next store. Sherwood Williams is a big part of this project that we are building and we will still use them when we move to another town.

I found a 10 gallon can of Sherwin Williams $500 industrial DTM Acrylic paint. I paid $40 for it. I took it to Sherwin-Williams to ask if they would add some color to it. I even picked out the color I wanted. Unfortunately the young man didn't read or understand that he couldn't mix this paint and get the color I wanted. It turned out to be what looked like to me a dark grey, instead of this blue. It really wasn't a color I even liked or wanted. However, I didn't want to act like an ass, after all I got the paint for almost nothing. The guys at Sherwin-Williams offered really tried to make it up. However, they didn't have anything comparable to what I already had. So I figured I'd just take it and use it and be happy no matter what. I got home and painted the building I had gotten the paint for. Here is the crazy part....the paint once in the sun with the light hitting it actually looks like the color I picked out. I really like these guys and I usually have to buy Walmart or Home Depot paint, the cheapest stuff. These folks are so nice, if I could afford to buy from them I really would. This is a very dangerous place…read more Not literally a dangerous place. You won't die there. Well, maybe if you get a shock after seeing your wallet. This place is dangerous for your wallet because there are way too many pretty things to buy! I've gone there twice now. On my first visit, I spent hours in there with my friend and neighbor. We were nearly there until closing time on a Sunday. We left with bags of food, alcohol, and with memberships that we signed up for with cashier Lucy's help. The second time I went, I mainly went to buy a gift card for the same friend and neighbor who accompanied me before as it was her birthday. I brought a companion, and well, we also wound up buying more food and alcohol. Admittedly this store has more than that, having furniture and what not, but the food and alcohol are what gets you. There is so much variety. You will find obscure products here, like Vegemite for the Aussies or more common stuff like different flavors of pocky for those loving Asian goodies. Heck, I found madeleines imported from France, which I repeatedly get told aren't dry like the American ones, and after having them, I must concur. You don't know what you're missing until you have it. That said, I'm shocked it took me so long to go to this place.
