    Best selection of beads !!!
    Michael F.

Best Native American gift store in the Midwest. I found a large selection of Native American foods, authentic native jewelry, clothes, crystals, star quilt blankets. It is Native owned and run. The store is extremely a great place to visit in the Twin Cities. And the largest bead and accessory collection I have ever come across !!

Not the greatest experience and when you call for answers no one knows. I've been waiting 14 weeks…read morefor equipment they told me 8-10. Which is fine, but where is the communication rather than demanding payment. I would not recommend ordering through Northwest Graphic Supply Co due to lack of communication.

Been shopping for art supplies from Northwest Graphic Supply for over 20 years and am so grateful…read morefor the best prices in town- art supplies can be rough on budget, but not here! I usually buy Golden Acrylics (always 40% off), brushes, gouache (80% off now), watercolor paper, pads and color pencils. Also have found usual finds like a protractor that fits on a wood yard stick to make huge circles! Their specialty is screen printing and one of their employees wrote a guide on the subject- although I don't do it- I enjoy seeing the wall of customer's prints along with art from the employees who are artists too. Can't tell you how much I enjoy coming in and talking to the helpful, caring, friendly staff! Living in the neighborhood- I walk in there with my dog- how nice. They are VERY MUCH in business- may look empty in spots as they are remodeling and moving supplies around- have fabulous sales going on. So important to shop independent businesses rather than just online- supports the neighbors/neighborhood. Look for their fabulous vintage sign- especially pretty at night! Thanks Northwest Graphics!

I'm a crafter/hoarder and I was in the neighborhood, so I stopped in. I'm going to need to go back…read morebetter prepared next time... That is to say, I should've brought my own small containers and cash. There were a few things I might've taken home with me if I'd had a good way to hold them and pay for them. (It's a $1 fee for credit/debit under $10 purchase, which... getting above $10 here is actually something that would take genuine effort, lol.) While I was there on a Thursday afternoon, it was quite bustling with people scrounging about. I overheard a lot of chatter from those who are regulars who come in once a week to see what's new to choose from. My guess is there's likely a lot of turnover in what's available, since it all comes from donations. I could probably stand to bring them some stuff I have that's been lying around and not being used. This is not a large shop, but it's packed with all sorts of stuff. Honestly, you kind of just have to go there to experience it. But I tried to take some photos of the kind of stuff you MIGHT see there to give you an idea. For example, I certainly wasn't expecting to see a 55 gallon drum of tennis balls or bottle caps. But there they were! You'll need to parallel park on the street as there is not a lot that I saw, but the good news is that parking seemed to be ample as it's a mostly residential area. They do have a bathroom for customers if you need.

I decided to break the ice and asked her where they had alligator clips. She huffed and stomped over to the spot and told me, "We don't call them that here. But I do have shoulder length hair so I guess I deserved it.

I swear it felt like the aisles were never ending. Hobby Lobby is like Michael's and Home Goods had a huge baby. Like Costco size huge. Everything was marked 60% off which was amazing and some things actually rang up as 70% off at the check out? We love a good deal! (Everything was cheaper than the dollar store in the same strip mall) The checkout line was like twenty people deep before they opened another register. I was foolish and didn't grab a cart so my arms were literally shaking by the time it was my turn to pay lol. Checkout employee was nice enough and friendly. I could tell they were exhausted from it being so busy. On that note I will also say that I didn't see any employees while I was shopping... so it's a good thing I didn't need any help?
