We spent time browsing the mini grocery area, where they sell various interesting items such as honey comb and Turkish delight. My friend bought dried chamomile flowers in bulk to make tea. The store is very close the Bde Maka Ska lake, and would make a great stop if on a bike ride around the Minneapolis lakes. Today, I drove and didn't have a problem finding parking on the street. The bookstore specializes in Native American voices and handmade arts. The interior of the store is really interesting to look at; there's a handmade canoe hanging from the ceiling and lots of handmade crafts throughout the store. I think Louise Erdrich, who is an author I enjoy, owns the store.
