I would leave 0 stars if I could......So today my daughter had a little accident and got a small gash on her head that needed to be glued or stitched. We went to Northshore in Hammond and our appointment time was 1:15 since I had to pick up my son from school at 3:25. We finally got called back around 2:20 I'm panicking over time and my daughters head so I asked how much longer and they said they'd check and never came back. It's 2:50 at this point and no doctor has come in and I'm getting more and more anxious. I opened the door to ask again and the dr was right there talking and asked if I needed something. So I proceeded to tell her "My daughter has a small gash in her head and we've been waiting since 1:15. Eventually I had to tell my husband to walk in this weather and walk back with my 5year old since we currently have only one car. She comes in and says she can glue it. She leaves and comes back with her two med students and then proceeds to tell me to wash my hands and hold the wound closed! Instead of the nurse or other Dr's. All three try after I couldn't get it and then they proceeded to get the surgical glue all over my daughters hair by her ear on the OPPOSITE side of the injury and down her cheek by her nose. The wound wasn't staying closed so the Dr said "I haven't done stitches in a while and I'm not comfortable doing it. Let me go check with my colleague." I said ok and then she comes back with Steri-strips and says the other Dr isn't comfortable either! Like wtf? Ok.... So she puts the strip on and it's still bleeding. After all of that she tells me to go to an urgent care anyway. What a waste of time. So I take my daughter to the Midwest Express Clinic and we were seen and treated PROPERLY with the surgical glue in 45 damn minutes. They were super professional, kind, and gentle with my daughter and they absolutely couldn't believe how they got the glue all in her damn hair! Anyways AVOID NORTHSHORE HAMMOND!!!!! And BIG shoutout to Midwest Express Clinic for helping me with my daughter and putting a smile on her face. read more

After my initial appointment I have experienced a very professional and caring staff that will go out of their way to ensure things are done correctly. Place used to be good, would allow guest to go back with patient but now "policy has changed." My spouse was being seen while I waited in the car, since I wasn't allowed to go back, and she expressed how rude they were when I wasn't with her. They have attitudes and smirky responses when She realized Their error. Don't be mad at us for correcting your mistake. And of course, this place will refuse/not correct and cost us a fortune. Ive always gone to NorthShore. I do not think I have ever had a bad experience or a rude staff member. The front desk girls in Hammond are always friendly and helpful. Most recently I saw Amanda the BHC. I have to say she is wonderful. Non-judgemental, helpful, she is great at her job. read more

I thought I had found the clinic I could go to and my kids!!! Wrong! This place is beyond ridiculous. There is no exepction! Last week I took my kids physical to get filled out it took three days to get it back, ok fine, when I got for it the front desk girl (she is new) who is very dumb didn't know what the f she was doing, made me fill out a sheet for release of record !i told her the nurse called me kids physical is in the front in the envolver it was like talking to a wall, I got annoyed and I ask the nice young African American beside her and she helped told her to check the folders on the side of the door! Bingo my kids physical was there.... she gave me an appt for a heart echo results my kid had done, gave me a card that read 12:45 , I got and there is no appt until 2:45 ! I had to schedule until today at 1, I get there 30 min early , don't get called back until 145! Dr still takes forever to go into our room, she walks in at 2:17 1hr and 17 min after my appt! And says what's wrong today what brings you in! Oh my lord! I just need her fucken echo results, damn 3 min to tell me everything is ok and I ran out of there I had a crying baby and a tired 4 year old, she still had the nerve to say it's not my fault it's the front doors! This place is not good for diabetes care for thyroid care. They only want you to come back monthly so they get more money and they will not give you enough prescriptions. DON'T GO HERE!! After 7 years taking medication that works they want to "experiment" with you and use their own medication tactics which made me sick with the side effects, then when you tell them it doesnt work they switch you to another wierd drug, I go to the doctor to feel good and I need a doctor to listen to me!!!!!
