I should have checked the review before I went in, and I would urge every patient to think twice before visiting. Only come if you want to deal with rude staff that yells at you. When I provided the feedback to the "lovely" Vanessa who works at check-in at women's health, she said "you got the day you deserved". If this is not the worst customer service ever, I don't know what is. I hope she feel proud of the "valuable work" and "good care" she provided to her customers. Good care. I see my provider here who switched offices from another location. Office is pretty clean. Those who work at the front desk are kind and I adore my doctor. He's the best. My visits are always quick and efficient. However, I did knock one star off because when I was taken back to get my vitals taken by the nurse, I think another nurse or cna was proctoring her and the nurse never told me. So it was pretty awkward for this nurse to take my temperature and my blood pressure and then there's someone in black scrubs behind her, basically going up and down on her tip toes to see what the nurse is documenting in my chart. Like a nice, brief introduction would have been nice but that never happened so yup, knocking a star down. Also, it was Just a really weird visual in general. Other than that though, everything else was smooth. I'll continue to come back to this location as long as my awesome doctor is here. read more

The facilities are standard NorthShore Health systems which means you can see everything on an app on your iPhone and it also means if you have been to a Northshore doctor the process is SUPER fast. I saw Dr. Sofiya Elterman. She has a great personality and seems to know a lot since she kicked me out of there in less than 10 minutes LOL. She saw my urine test had NO blood but was high in sugar so asked me what I had eaten recently? I said why? Nothing odd she asked? She said anything dark? And I looked at her confused until I started to turn red in embarrassment over the fact that I am a "FOODIE" and was eating hummus last night with "DRIED BEET CHIPS"!! You know, because they are supposed to be good for you) well guess what else they do to you when you eat a whole bag of them?! They make your pee look like it has blood in it and scare the crap out of you the next day. So after I told her how embarrassed I was, (since I am Russian and Polish and Romanian by decent and eat beets all the time and should have known the problem) because these were chips and I totally forgot they were beets, I thanked the doctor Anyway, GREAT PLACE. read more

Went for a childrens appointment. Given a estimate of 30 minutes until a room would be available. At 40 minutes with no update inqiured on status. They estimsted it would be another 30 to 40 minutes. Upon further investigation they admitted they had no real idea when we could be seen. That is both impractical and unacceptable. Approximate wait time should be availble online, when an estimate is given it should not be a wild guess, and updates should be provided when things change. North shore medical failed on multiple fronts. This approach to helthcare is fatally flawed and frankly embarrassing in a developed country. read more

The employees there were great. But North Shore closed immediate care. Not much care for their patients.

I've used this place twice now and I can't say enough good things about it. The doctors, nurses and staff are all friendly, caring, knowledgeable and efficient. I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes to see a doctor but even if I had to it's worth the wait. I'd recommend this immediate Care center to anyone. read more

I made appointment for monday am, before travel. but while I checked in they told me it's Wed, I said I mentioned I need to travel Tuesday, that's why I asked for Monday... they said sorry, it's for Wed. it's not just waste of time or drove 20 mi. but also need to reschedule everything all over. Front desk staff is always pleasant! Urgent care is very helpful and the doctors and nurses are great. Regular practice doctors are always available and very thorough. The lab staff has always been very patient with anxious kids who are afraid of needles and throat swaps! read more

Review for 49 Waukegan Road, Deerfield, Immediate Care. This is review only for Immediate Care Clinic. When my wife cut her finger deeply June 2020, we rushed to this center. We had a hard time to stop the bleeding at home then rushed over there. Well, the clinic was packed, just absolutely packed. What all those people were doing there I'm not sure. One person in front of us was asking about getting a flu shot. Immediate care? The front desk person asked my wife how urgent her need was. Obviously the need was very urgent, as she was bleeding, but the admission person asked for her to rate her own need on a scale of 1 to 10. My wife said 5. That was a big mistake, our bad. Because we I guess we were then put last on the list. Everyone in that waiting room went in before her. 2 hour wait. Terrible. And she was the only one in that room who had a large tournequette to stop bleeding. Just awful. For the admitting nurse not to see that she had an urgent need... and she didn't refer us to any other clinic or try to help us track down a place that was less busy. When she WAS finally treated, whatever the attending health care person did, it left her with some sort of permanent scar. I'm sorry to have to write such a negative review but it's true. Don't let people's negative reviews fool you. They are simply frustrated people who assume immediate care is going to be amazing. Immediate care anywhere (except for an ER) is average at best. That being said, I went here for a physical check up (with Dr. Tanney, specifically). I arrived early and was surprised that I had minimal paperwork/history to fill out. Once I was called to see the doctor, they asked me the history specifically and about each thing that they had concern about. That was nice. Despite coming in for only a physical, the doctor talked to me about specific concerns I had that may or may not have required an actual doctor's appointment and even gave me some meds for it (which have already worked thus far). I also had to come in again for a blood and urine test, but they have a separate walk in station for that. You won't have to wait. I was in and out in 20 minutes tops. Very fast and efficient. Great office for somebody looking for a great general care physician or for any medical appointment. If you need immediate care, go somewhere that specializes in that. read more

This place is awesome for a doctors office. They have an online check in option. They don't take appointments for the urgent care but you can tell them when you are coming so it makes check-in faster. It was never crazy there either time I went there and I felt they were thorough and helpful. It's definitely better than the take care clinics around or going to an ER or something like that. read more

Do NOT see Dr. Smith as she is a horrible doctor who doesn't care about her patients at all! I had a bad experience with her a year ago because she is a strictly by whatever she reads on the internet or in medical books, but she ultimately has no idea how to treat patients!! And now I have a UTI and have had them all my life. Well she wants me to come in for a test to verify my symptoms because my last test didn't have blood in it, even though I get them treated early and have had positive tests in the past. I went in for treatment super early last time because I am a type 1 diabetes and am already immune compromised. With Covid 19 spreading quickly and thoroughly, I am of course concerned about going in, especially after catching whooping cough in that same office last October when I went in for a flu shot. On top of that, they messed up testing for that and had me come back because they contaminated and ruined the first sample, even though I was already done with antibiotics! I was also misdiagnosed for that too as being bronchitis even though I had months of nonstop coughing that made me vomit. I urge you to find a different place for your healthcare needs since you might go there for something fairly innocuous and leave there with a serious illness!! read more
