It is ridiculous to charge $27.81 for plugging a tire, by the way they didn't have to find the hole in the tire, the nail was still in it, the hole was visible. The guy had the audacity to tell me he would lock my car up if I didn't come up with the money, he even told me he could let the air out of my tire if I wanted to go elsewhere. BTW I know $27.81 is not a lot of money, ( it is for fixing a flat) it is the principle. They get a zero rating from me.#neverstepfootinwilsontire

I took my Lexus LS430 here to buy a couple of tires. Mr. Wilson assured me his technicians were…read moreproperly trained, much better than I could expect at a Wal Mart automotive center. Unknown to me at the the time, in the process of mounting the tires, one of the mounting studs was knocked loose, falling between the hub and brake assembly (left rear tire). My car starting making weird scraping and rubbing noises with an occasional hard "bang" like someone was hitting the drive shaft with a sledge hammer. I took the vehicle back to Wilson, describing what was happening. He drove it (briefly) and then put it up on the lift, looked around, said nothing was amiss, that the age of my car was the problem. I then took it to Herrin Gear Lexus in Jackson. They quickly isolated the problem(s), showed me the damages and what had caused it. $1,100 worth of parts and labor to correct, making those Wilson tires the most expensive I've ever purchased. I've since talked to others Clintonians who've had terribly bad experiences at this business. Be ware!
