The recptionist was so helpful lining up appointments that fit in my schedule. The dental assistant was top notch in making sure the process was described to me prior to the dentist coming in. Now the dentist was a pro, I have never been comfortable in the chair, especially when there is someone sticking hands in my mouth and beating me up with a drill. She pulled this off so gently I hardly noticed, kudos to her for that! I was refered to them by Pure North to have my silver fillings replaced, I am so happy I found them as they do it up right! Washroom was 1 of the coziest I have seen in a long time, with wall murals of garden seens from europe, I post that for Jennie M who likes to know these things ;-)

Prior to her, I had some doozies of a dentist ( one who told me I had a rotten tooth and it needed pulling. I still have that tooth and it is in great shape ). Another dentist I had told me in 5 yrs I will need dentures ( I still have all my teeth ). So when I went to this office, I was apprehensive. Long story short... she saved the tooth. Since then she is the only dentist I would ever trust to work on my mouth. Her staff are amazing and take great care with their patients. Her practice has expanded quite a bit but the service is still the same. they tell you straight out and do not recommend any work that does not need to be done. If I could recommend a dentist, it is this practice. And that my friends is the tooth and nothing but the tooth !

Had three bad experiences…read more First. Had a regular check up and cleaning done, everything went well. After we were done I was put into a side room full of merchandise and was trying to be talked into buying a very expensive electric toothbrush. I kept saying I would think about it, after about 5-10 mins trying to push this product in me they finally stopped and took me to pay my bill. Second time I needed a retainer replaced for my front bottom teeth. Thought everything went well till a couple of hours later I started getting a very bad headache. Thought nothing of it. After a couple of day I went back to get the retainer readjusted. Took two separate visits till it was done right, instantly the headaches went away. About a month later the retainer broke off of my tooth and cut my tongue, so I took it out myself and threw it away. My third visit was for a cleaning and check up. All went well till the billing. They put I through and as I was about to leave I checked to see what they charged me for. Two procedures on the bill they didn't do, X-rays and fluoride. I brought this to their attention and I was told, "we'll get you next time". I believe that is insurance fraud, but what ever. Let's just say I found a new dentist in the area. Super happy now.

I told her I don't particularly like dentist but I need to see someone. I met with Dr. Zak and his assistant Donna (I hope I got that correct). Both were very nice. Made me feel calm and explained everything they were doing and looking at. Unfortunately I do need to go back but I am feeling better about it. I have never had a bad experience when going in for my yearly check up, getting a mouth guard created or for the dental emergency. The staff have always been really pleasant and friendly and even when there was a scheduling mix up, they did their best to accommodate my needs. Dr. Yeh has always been really good about answering any questions I might have about my teeth, procedures and what to expect. I recommend this clinic to people all the time and most of my family have seen Dr. Yeh at one point or another. An extra bonus is that they have clinics in multiple locations (Sherwood Park, Spruce Grove, UofA). We all know going to the dentist isn't exactly a top activity on the fun list but at least the Smiles Dental Group makes it as tolerable and pleasant as possible :)

Delton Denture Clinic was sold, Gino Borelli has, I am told, retired, and now the place has been…read morerenamed Horizon Denture Center & Implant solutions, with Rick and Veronica being the two denturists running the place. Rick is about the same vintage as Gino was, and both denturists seem competent and efficient. I have continued with Horizon for my annual check-ups, a relining of my dentures, and a repair. I am satisfied so far, although waiting times for my repair and relining seemed little longer than in the old days with Gino, but this could be nothing more than a seasonal thing or individual circumstances. So far, so good however, and I will update again after next year's appointment.

It is hard to enjoy taking a trip to the dentist, but I really don't mind going to see my dentist at this location. The receptionists are really nice and after only one visit, they recognized my boyfriend by name when he walked in. The building is really nice. It is modern and comfortable. There are televisions in the ceiling tiles so you can watch TV while you're getting your teeth cleaned. I find that many dentists are pretentious and are firm about flossing, rinsing and all that jazz, but my dentist admitted to me that she hates flossing and does not do it everyday. It made it much easier for me to admit that I hate flossing and I don't do it as much as I should. I am so happy I made the switch to this dentist. A little something extra: They also make appointments on Saturdays, which is excellent for working people or children. A+ for convenience.
