They offered me a double queen. Then when I was switched I was told I could only stay there for one night and would have to check out and find another hotel for the next two nights. I asked to just be removed from my reservation and I'd go find another hotel. At the same time, my brother also was staying there and had to request new bedding for the pull-out couch which was soiled. Other guests were having problems with their reservations at the same time. The front attendant told me that the manager was unlikely to allow me out of my reservation and I would have to pay for one full night. I was charged more than my reservation would have been for the king for one night for a downgraded room to a queen. Ultimately I left and went to another hotel for my stay in town. I tried to speak with the manager who refused to allow me to explain the story. He cut me off while speaking, believed I spent the night in the hotel with my sister, and refused to listen. Extremely rude and poor business behavior. Beyond the photos below--hair on the bedding, food scraps around the refrigerator, mold in the shower, someone's razor in the shower.

Stayed there for one night this week…read more. Check in- had to ring a bell at the desk, and a minute later the front desk person showed up.. Room was ok, but water pressure in shower was weak, and breakfast was a little sparse around 8:30am. And again, nobody was at the front desk for me to talk to, to get cream cheese for my bagel. Not a terrible stay, but this looks like a "family owned and operated" hotel.. When we were walking to check out, two older Indian people were cleaning the rooms. I felt bad, as when I say older, they looked to be at least 75 years old. Yikes. You should really hire younger cleaning staff as some of that work is physically demanding. Not sure we'd stay here again, but I will say, the price was right.

Owner said she could not cancel the last night's reservation because we made it through Priceline. I contacted Priceline, who contacted the owner, who refused to refund the last night's stay. So, essentially, the owner was blaming Priceline when it was her decision all along. If she had simply said no, that would have been better than her disingenuousness, which cost us time trying to resolve before we got on the road. As for the motel, since we got a deal online, it was okay. It's very dated. There is a mini-fridge, microwave, WiFi, and tiny one-cup coffee pot. The room is clean enough except the very dirty carpets. The rooms have few electrical outlets, so if you want to charge your phone at night, you'll need to unplug the clock or the lamp. The windows just have a curtain but no sheers so it's either no privacy or a dark room. The A/C and heat are controlled in a unit under the window with knobs that turn red/blue and have Lo-Hi fans, which mean the fan kicks on loud and you never really get the temperature right. But it beats no AC at all. And they allow dogs for a $15/night extra charge. There is a free breakfast but it's not healthful food; it's standard fare like biscuits and gravy, toast and jam, etc. We didn't partake so I can't comment on quality. If I return to Fond du Lac, I won't stay at this hotel.

This tired old motel, like me, has much more road in the rear view mirror than straight ahead. I…read moredo like that actually in spite of the need for renovation, it's an older two story design that you just don't see anymore. You'll know what I mean when you pull up. The last renovation was a while ago, and some of the plugs aren't really accessible, so you might have some trouble if you use a CPAP. I don't know that this would be anyone's first choice, it wasn't mine. I attended a conference at the Radisson, which is a very easy walk through the contiguous parking lots. The Radisson and Holiday Inn are nicer but also more expensive. We reserved a king but got two full size instead, but the room was clean and everything worked. No housekeeping service though we were here four nights, and they only gave us tiny little shampoo, conditioner and body lotion to last maybe one day. Farm Fleet is pretty close by. Lots of wasteful little plastic and paper cups wrapped in more plastic, room coffee maker makes a not very good cup of coffee. Why wrap plastic cups in more plastic? They do have free coffee and hot water all day, but they also run out. They have recycling receptacles which I hope they use to recycle. Morning breakfast is pretty good for free, and different every day, but the room is pretty tight if they are near or fully booked. No elevator, so if mobility is limited, ask for first floor ahead of time. Pool is nice, though too much chlorine, like most motel pools. Relatively inexpensive washer and dryer, but only one of each. Limited exercise room with two different aerobic exercise machines. Bathroom is small but with good air circulation.

There was no refreshed breakfast for families that showed up at 8am when Breakfast was open for another hour or more and the food that was out was dry or crisped because of the over heating. Breakfast was a 2/5. 3) The redeeming quality of this hotel was its location. It is tucked away, so there is little traffic noise and it was a clean hotel. 5/5 I would stay here again with the understanding that the staff do better on the breakfast items and reservation requests.

We picked this hotel since it had larger space living room with 2 queen beds. Front desk was nice…read moreto take photos since nothing online showed the space. The living room is bigger than we expected. Also crib was placed in room when we checked in. The crib easily fit in the corner so still could use the sofa. The half walls in the living room/bedroom and the bathroom sink/toilet were actually useful as counter space. There is also a decent sized tall dorm fridge (rectangular) which had separate fridge and freezer. The microwave was nice to reheat pizza and also breakfast when food cooled down. Beds were comfortable and had nice variety of firm and soft pillows. The furniture was minimal but very helpful for roller bags and also hooks above small table for your bags. Also, there is square ottoman which doubles up for living room stool. The coffee table also converts to high table for workstation or dining table. The flexibility of lighting was nice feature with softer lights around the edges of bed frame and then the end table brighter lights. Also, blackout curtains were wonderful to make room really dark. Bathroom has nice sized sink and shower tub combo added flexibility for kids and adults. We even used the pool which was rarely used. Breakfast had nice rotation of hot food- biscuits and gravy/sliced ham/bacon/scrambled eggs/omelette/roasted potatoes. Also, there is nice selection of nutragrain bars for snack on the go. The sundry shop was sparsely stocked with snacks and drinks. We got a free drink for following hotel on social media. Also, we managed to get the last pack of hi-chews for on the road snack. Room temperature was nice and cool during hot weather outside. The hotel hallways were warm and not sure why. Otherwise, the staff was very friendly. We requested daily housekeeping and they were prompt in the morning for cleaning. Other hotels we stayed were not as helpful due to staffing issues. Hilton required 4 day stay for cleaning. If less than 4 days, you had to leave your bagged trash outside room and go downstairs to pickup bath towels. We felt holiday inn certainly was much better with housekeeping than Hilton. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations and conveniently off major highway.

Like other comparable hotels they raise rates in times of high demand but that doesn't make the hotel any better. Staff is friendly and helpful, it's clean, and meeting rooms are good. The in house restaurant, Benvenuto's is mediocre, hence the food catered for meetings is kind of only okay. Plenty of parking, and a separate meeting entrance is helpful. Free hot coffee all day.

Heart ************************** To: Radisson Corp (via contact us on their website) FAX to Country Inn & Suites - Fond du Lac, WI 920-322-9166 Email to WI State USBC Championship Tournament office (Don Hildebrandt) .... donh@wibowl.com *************************** To whom it may concern, I am registering a complaint against the Country Inn and Suites by Radisson in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. I was quite disturbed with the variance in room rates among 3 guest rooms for Saturday April 29, 2023. We all participated in the Wisconsin State USBC Women's Championship bowling tournament, and we were provided a rate sheet from the tournament office with a rate of $119.00 + tax per room (135.07 total). However, at check out, we discovered one of the rooms was charged at $153.22 for the 2 Queen Beds for which all 3 room accommodations were exactly the same. When making the reservations, each caller referenced "2023 USBC Women's Bowling" as noted on the document provided to us by the Tournament Office. I brought this to the attention of the desk attendant at check out. She was not able to make an adjustment without the manager. A refund check in the amount of $20.15 should be processed as a refund. This information will be shared with Wisconsin State USBC Women's Championship tournament office and YELP. Respectfully submitted,
